The type of person who would go out of their way to avoid doing a quest to get a chance to get a few pennies (literally) more value out of it is not the kind of person a company would bother catering to. Someone that cheap will never spend a dime on the game.
If you want to ask for something you should ask for something that'll generate blizzard revenue. Like making permanent login rewards. Stuff like that increases the amount people play, which in turn increases revenue. Not adding a feature which only caters to the cheapest possible players.
It is pretty much like this. Pausing quests will grant you an average of 2 more gold per day. It stimulates logins since one is free to play the classes he wants without caring that he is behind on gold.
Pause/resume also makes the quest re-roll always a positive option since one can start re-rolling 50/60 gold quests in order to get the top gold/pack quests. Right now knowing that you can receive a 40 gold quest you can't pause that will block your other 50/60 gold quests makes re-rolling not always a good choice.
I have mixed opinions about this feature. While it is essentially a very useful way to try to complete 2-3 quests by playing one match, we still have the ability to reroll useless/uncompleted quests like "Murlocalypse" to have a chance of better quest like "Total Dominance" (100g quest, not sure if I spelled it right).
However! If this becomes implemented by Team 5, some (not all of us) people might have the use of this feature as a easier way to farm quests.
I'd rather they just eliminate rerolling for higher value. As in, when you reroll a quest, you get one worth the same gold. Up the chance of higher gold quests slightly to compensate. Rerolling should give you choice as to how to play the game, not take it away because you are compelled to game the system.
Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?

^ I expect HS is here to stay. For many, many years. All types of QoL changes will come at some point.

Why it's so hard to add something like this?
Maybe it would be better to restart your poll rather than reviving this old topic?
It's more crucial now with the new 800/1000 XP quests. I would often like to be able to play without triggering a quest
