Because Aggro Shaman is the fastest way to clear the quests to get more packs, so that we can experiment more. :P
It doesn't help with the fact that the new 4-mana 7/7 with Overload (2) synergises well with Trogg, and it is able to demolish Taunts effectively. I prefer it compared to Crackle. ><
'I played 2 games and it was the same deck each time let's make a thread!'
2 games is nothing.
Also at the start of every rotation, people are going to play aggro to punish unrefined control. Control takes more practice to play well; more time to refine and needs to be tuned to the meta to well... control it. Also it tends to need more epic/legendary cards to function; and the expansion only just came out so a lot of people are going to be missing those. Aggro just hits face; and the Face Shaman list hardly even changed.
Also it's the end of the ranked season so you also have the aggro spike due to people wanting to rank up ASAP.
So you have 2 patterns where aggro spikes happen at the same time. Give it a few days; perhaps til May 1st. The meta should start to settle and there won't be the ranked rush for end-of-season rewards.
I played C'thun priest, crushed a control mage and got my c'thun to 28/28. never got playhim though! I was almost tempted to BM just to see him come out, but I was worried about the pyro face since I never drew into it....
The C'thun priest deck played like a pretty tight tempo deck....

You have a deck link? I'm looking forward to the new Priest decks with the expan being live now
A lot of people predicted an aggro shaman meta. A quick look at the cards they're receiving and a rudimentary understanding of the game could give anyone a hint that this class is going to be good.

No need it's basically the c'thun deck in the deck creator. only difference is I was missing one card and put cthuns chosen instead... not exactly a priest card....
The hearthstone community is 98% mindless tweens who need to wait for Trump or some dipshit streamer to make a deck for them to copy, so of course all they can play now is aggro shaman.
Hey so I've been playing for awhile and yeah it might have only been two games, but I'm seeing like 80% aggro still. I've had to switch to an aggro deck to win some games. This is rank 9, btw so maybe it's just where I'm at on ladder.
Have been playing midrange Hunter and so far I'm 7-3, loosing to 3 C'Thun decks. The one agro I faced was Shaman and used Powershot to clear out his board and he top decked the rest of the match.
Yeah, I think I was just venting/laughing and everyone took it way too seriously. I'm in total agreement that aggro Shaman got huge buffs by no nerfs and the 7/7

Havn't seen a single shaman in about 25+ games they must all be in Legend already!
All I see are sprites :(
There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those that can count and those that can't.

Meet the new cancer same as the old cancer.
Brb, disenchanting C'thun for 2nd Doomhammer.

I'm playing against a LOT of shamans unfortunately. These new shaman cards are crazy strong.
All i see is secret pally and ramp druid.
Oh wait im in EU! Thanks blizz
Just wrecked an aggro shaman and face druid, no problem for my control warrior deck.

I'm at rank 6-5 and I just played 6 shamans straight (standard mode).
