Yeah so I am not so new anymore yet I still have difficulty recognizing what beats what (ie Handlock is good against x,y,z but bad against a,b) if anyone wants to go ahead and put some information out there I'd really appreciate it, if someone wants to explain why something is good against another thing, that'd be the absolute best.
I'm no expert player but I can tell you a little from my experience of playing ranked using my main two decks, hand lock and Druid ramp.
Last season I used hand lock and went to Legend and this season I've been mostly using Druid ramp, currently at rank 5 so I'll be talking about ranks 6-1 where I've spent most time playing.
Hand lock is generally pretty strong against most other control decks that aren't able to deal a lot of damage quickly. Its even against the common control warrior and generally smashes Druid it's strongest matchup (I know this from playing both ways lol). It is usually very weak against rush decks and decks that can deal direct or quick burst damage however. Like zoo or some aggro Mage decks.
Druid ramp is strong against a great deal of match ups but I've found I struggle against Rogue (mostly miracle of course) possibly the most as Sapp is such a strong card against Druid amongst other things.
As for many of the other decks I couldn't tell you with confidence the exact best and worse matches. I will say that currently there seem to be a great deal of shaman decks around. Shaman used to be weak against Hunter but ever since the UTH nerf it's been a really strong class against most decks and roughly even against hand lock or Druid ramp in my opinion.
Paper beats rock. Rock beats scissors. Scissors beats paper.
When I play Zoo, I have the most difficulty versus Tempo Rogues and Control Druids. Paladins can be tough depending on the build, especially if heavy control with a lot of healing. Hunter Rush, Mages, Warriors and Priests are all breezes, generally.

Thanks in advance
I'll start. Face roll hunters (not the new mid range) have a favored match-up against the typical shaman deck.
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!

How to become ∞ at arena: - practice, practice, win, dominate, profit.
20K G's saved up every new expansion.
Zoo is weak to rogue decks, strong against control warriors, midrange hunters, and even with most other decks.

Poetic.
