Yes my friends, people getting so gready when talking about Tickatus and they think it's gonna be easy to corrupt and the answer is NO. You need to stabilize first, because he doesn't has any impact on the board, so you need to be safe before playing him.
You are right about activating corrupt, but Galakrond core is weak in current meta. It getting completely wrecked by any face damage decks, like soul dh or bomb warrior. And in new meta dh is getting even more damage from hand, secret hunt and enchantment shaman will be quite popular too and they will wreck galakrond.
Also your playstyle is not compatible with Tickatus at all. Galakrond warlock playstyle is cycling your deck fast and play big threats at the end of deck. What is the point if burning enemy deck when you are already dont have cards left too? Tickatus is control tool, it will fit such decks like quest warlock, soul control warlock (with large amount of early and late game removals), highlander warlock (maybe).

I get your point of view and totally agree that Galakrond warlock is weak nowadays, but I'm expecting meta to change on the new expansion turning into something between aggro, midrange and control. Deck purpose is to destroy other control decks (especially priest, demon/quest warlock and warrior) and also being able to survive against aggro decks.
The point of burning enemy deck while I'm getting out of cards too is simply: destroying their win conditions or burning their removals. Also, something that you are not getting in consideration is the fact that Tickatus has a 8/8 body, so it's not just burning cards it's a big threat by itself.
Hopefully people start playing greedy decks with the new old gods and Tickatus will be the key ^^

How do we stabilize at the same time we corrupt Tickatus? Easy, playing a galakrond warlock with the soul fragment package to run Soulciologist Malicia and also Siamat and our beloved Galakrond, the Wretched.
Those are the best 3 cards to corrupt Tickatus on t7 and then playing him on turn 8

Btw hstopdecks had a good theorycraft article about Tickatus recently. Honestly I agree with their deckbuilding decisions.

@Reskul
Yep, got your point. I hope greedy decks will be on ladder too :)

My super fun decklists that are Anti-Meta with a great winrate - Control Decks = Experienced Players / Face Decks = New Climbers
Check out the Bomb Warrior Deck
Yeah, no. Your deck is uber greedy and im sure it got steamrolled by aggro.
Just seeing Highlander cards with multiple dupes AND soul fragments hurt my eyes....

highlander? my deck is not highlander, nor is my deck uber greedy.
with 4 1-drops 4 2-drops and 5 3-drops the curve is very smooth.
also literally every monster has either charge or taunt.
and on top of that, Im running 2x minefield and 2x bladestorm, 2x brawl and you have a weapon for clear, so aggro and board spam arent an issue.
Also the fact that im warrior and my passive counters aggro helps too. The winrate vs aggro isnt as bad as it seems
My reply was to the OP, not to you my friend. :)
