Wow so many legendaries this week. At least on my page :/ I was thinking "Well, vanilla WoW, vanilla set cards, so let's keep it simple." And now I am watching how the legendary entries get the most upvotes, while my simple, rare Infectious Ghoul just sits there and gathers dust. You should have put a rule which said no legendaries are allowed or ONLY legendaries are allowed.
@Bsur I'm not entirely sure about that card. Obviously it can have a huge tempo swing, but the fact that it's so situational - it only works against one class, and only the portion that run that specific legendary (which, admittedly, is a lot). It's just going to be a 6/6 for 6 the vast majority of the time.
Now, I have an idea that I'd like some feedback on:
I think that this minion, with this effect, seems way too weak at 2 attack, yet way too strong at 3. Maybe reducing this to a 4 mana 2/1 with the same effect would be better? I'm just not sure.
Since it almost always has immune, it cannot be affected by taunt, so you can't cheese the game with this.
@Bsur That is really, really specific. Maybe allow it to "corrupt" (i.e steal) any weapon and drop the stats a tad? He could have a specific voice line for Ashbringer or something.
Also does this entry qualify? It's not a specific Vanilla NPC, but the concept ("Fire mage takes a semester abroad in a druid grove") could exist in it.
Bertha had a fantastic semester abroad; she learned all sorts of new ways to set people on fire.
Okay, I checked that, and it's actually mislabeled. They were next door in Blasted Lands, which makes more sense.
Now you mention, yep, the boars in Blasted Lands were indeed called "Helboars", but they definitely didn't have the spiky looks. That may be chalked down to graphic limitations, seeing the updated Helboars use the new model, so it could be fine. What is not okay is that the image clearly depicts a Felboar, and those only exist in the Fel-Corrupted wastes of Shadowmoon Valley.
The art we have available is pretty limited, so I think one should let that slide.
There's a small thing i'd like feedback on. Which text would you prefer?
1. When one of your Secrets triggers, put a copy of it into your hand.
2. When your Secrets trigger, return them to your hand afterwards.
I personally like the second text better, because 'Copy' doesn't quite hit the feel of what Huntress Ravenoak does for you. She doesn't give you another trap, she makes them reusable. I just feel that hits home the theme a bit better, and accomplishes the same thing.

@ManyCookies You need an NPC from Vanilla WoW.
The first, easily. The second is very easy to trip over and makes it sound like the traps might negate themselves. I under thematically it might not work but unfortunately I think clarity trumps everything else. (If it's any consolation in game a card could represent what you're going for based on animations and what not even if that doesn't work for this contest.)
@Bsur way, way, waaaaaay to situational. Try "If your opponent has a weapon equipped, equip corrupted Ashbringer"
That.... Could actually be run in a murlock deck, good work for making me appreciate a 0/2 with no card text.

Card art doesn't completely fit because the actual NPC has a slightly different design, but meh...
The two effects are based on how the enemy itself will choose between two spells with similar effects to those in the card. Is the balance ok?

@nurgling13
Helboars are found in Stranglethorn Vale.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
In vanilla? Are you sure they weren't added in cataclysm?

They show up in the search bar on the Vanillagaming site, which is dedicated to Vanilla WoW. SO they must be.

Damnit, LionGolem, why did you have to post useless messages in the SUBMISSION topic? Now the numbering is all whack.

Can someone please delete LionGolem and urbangrey from the submission topic? They're only talking about other cards and nothing else.

So, I thought I'd actually get feedback this week, before rushing to submit, I'm toying with one of 2 ideas:
Feedback is greatly appreciated!
Check out my entrant for the WCDC 9.12: Bilgewater Highroller
Alright. A lot of people are ruining the submission topic by posting useless comments on it. Please get someone to fix it.

why there are so many people chatting in the Submission Topic?....New comers?...
I'm not sure about balancing issues since only few hunters take Tracking. Would it be OK?
THERE IS NO GAME.

I posted this one a few hours ago, but now I'm beginning to worry that it's slightly overpowered and might function better as Combo card. Thoughts?
