The Twilight's Hammer clan see all of creation as a scar left on the pure emptiness of the void. This has lead the clan to seeking out the destruction of Azeroth by any means neccessary, and as such, the clan have allied themselves with the forces of the Old Gods and the Elemental Lords.

Despair acts as a way to make the game harder for your opponent and particulalry punishes opponents who use combos that require very precise mana costs or just decks that use high cost cards. This allows Vezax to "Ramp up" in a sort of way, either to catch back up to his opponent or gaining a quickly snowballing advantage.
Thank you to everyone who voted for Twilight's Hammer, it has been lots of fun making the class and been a great learning experience for myself
Thanks to Asylum_Raphsody and DialM4Murloc for running the competition, you guys have done a great job with it and i hope we see you two running more competitions similar to this one in the future!
Thanks to all the other competitors, there were some really amazing class ideas that popped up from the competition, and i know many of you're guys ideas have got me thinking more about potential card mechanics, also thanks to those of you who helped me with cards balancing / concepts on the discussion threads, your help was invaluable.
Just think that Dark Simulacrum should be different, based on WoW' spell. In my head I see it as a secret that copies that next card your oponent plays and makes it cost (3) less.
Good luck bro! :)

If it's more powerful than Armor Up! and Steady Shot and less powerful than Fireblast and Life Tap, which I think this hero power is, then that's usually enough for it to be considered well-balanced enough to be within the existing range. Of course, balance isn't the only concern for making a well-designed hero power, but I'm just saying that if there is a problem with the hero power then balance isn't it.
Thanks everyone for the support and criticisms, I've been busy making the cards + Life stuff so i unfortunately haven't had a chance to reply to any of your posts. Its 3am here in Australia at the moment, so I'll get some sleep now and I'll address peoples concerns etc. after =D

Small nitpick, but Ulduar Scrapbot is grammatically incorrect. Please see how there is a comma between dies and gain in Junkbot.
Mark of the faceless: it's too weak, make it so when using on an enemy minion that he can restore YOUR hero instead of his owner. just word it the way Blessing of Wisdom is.
Twilight Ward: A worst Conceal, cuz it doesn't stop the trading. only better against Flare. make it cost 0 mana or "give minions imunity at the end of the turn" for 2 mana.
Dark Visions: A worse Naturalize. if this was 1 mana i'd still prefer to use the druid card, cuz i'd rather destroy a huge minion and give them 2 cards then to just deal damage to it and maybe not even kill it, giving them 1 card while so. Think about the reason people trash on Mindgames. It's because every deck runs a lot of cheap weak minions. And even more cheap spells!
Ascendant Council: i HATE this card. Need complete rework! It looks cool, but it's completly unplayable. The random effect requires great result such as Animal Companion and Unstable Portal. But in this case, you are aways hitting 50% chance at "5/5" 25% of crush the opponent and the other 25% chance of destroying yourself. For instance: if you're against a priest, giving them the auchenai when they are dieing might just win u the game, but giving them the heal more will allow them to come back to the game you were suppose to win. The same scenario is for the opposite. If he is beating you, and u give him the more heal, he might not be able to finish u off and u comeback, but give him the auchenai and ur dead.... Against the combo decks, give them the +3 spell cost and u win, give the -3 spell cost and u lose, the dmg/heal will be irrelevant. Everytime you'll want to get a result (for example make ur spells cheap) and then get the +3 spell cost and ruin ur gameplan. when u want to "Loatheb" them to survive and give them the -3 cost... guess what. so its aways a 50% for 5/5 and 25% lose vs 25% win scenario. this kind of randomness (for losing badly aswel!) is not welcome. Design wise it's cool, props to that.
Wailing banshee: Bad card. play turn 4, they kill it, on your turn their spells cost more, on their turn that is over. it's only good if u manage to kill it on your turn, which requires trade, so 1 turn survival. UNLESS you ment to word it: On your opponent's next turn.
Ulduar Scrapbot: I'd make the buff +1/+2
DragonWrath: The last words on this card has to be "Instead" or "as well" after "minion". I'm assuming it's "as well" in this case.

Very well done. You deserve to win the competition.
goodluck
RIP yogg-saron good things don't last forever :(
Solid and cohesive look so far. Good luck in the finals and looking forward to your inventive expansion input.
I like it, even to me its seem very raid boss and brawl material, cant wait for the rest.
I like it, a lot!

Seems the most balanced out of the 4 decks, nicely done
my fave out of the bunch :D good luck
Hurry up, bro. You haven't shown any of the GvG, Naxx, and BRM cards yet. Soon you'll be disqualified! And I don't want that!
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
Didn't you change Shadowcrash slightly? :3

I would say that Ogre Shaman is a little weak. Yes, it has Spell-taunt, but only 50% of the time... Maybe a 4/4 or a 3/5... But IDK.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.

This is amazing! The time and effort put into this is incredible. 10/10
Double Shadowform- Prophet Velen- Mind Shatter for 6 damage
CAN YOU SAY OP?
This card is basically an Exodia if you can't deal with it.
