My previous entry got immediately removed for trolling because of emotes but what about this one? Unfair
I don't really know who am I trolling with that card. Rules say
Fun and even humorous entries are perfectly allowed
and I thought this card was fun.
I also don't know what your card was and if mods banned it just for emotes they should ban me too.
You are both correct in-that we frown on cards related to emotes. Normally, we would leave a moderator note on the card and it would be up to the owner to contact us about replacing the entry. If they do not, we would DQ them; situation over, problem addressed. In this situation, however, Xetrov is right to be disgruntled about the perceived double-standard: last week we pushed Xetrov to replace their emote-related card with a new entry, and we have not yet done that with Kamroni. That ends now.
In the future (and technically right now), there will be a rule added into the header barring individuals from making cards related to emotes. Unless a specific theme undermines that rule, we will always consider such cards as troll entries. It will still be on you to contact us if you want to replace your entry before it's DQ'd, and it's still on you to make a legal card in the first place, but we're done with this being an unofficial/unwritten standpoint.
Edit: I feel like the fun police, but it needs to be done or this will just continue to be an issue in the future. I apologize to all involved that we did not act sooner, and allowed the situation to spill into the Discussion thread.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
A lot of terrible balance issues this week. Cheap cycle cards are too good for neutral.
