But i find it really weird. Fenris just jumped from 5 likes to around 30 likes in under a day, while most of our others just remained relatively stale, despite having WAY more likes.
I'm on page 2 also with Magic Curtain. There are a lot of good cards on page 2, making the competition tough. I really like Edwin and Big Little Tough Guy. I really don't understand the love for Fenris though. 7/7 in stats and buffs the entire board and gives you two beasts and it costs only 5 mana? I always prefer seeing creative but balanced cards make the finals. It's not one of the cards on the page I guessed would be at the top and it stayed at the bottom for the first couple days. Then it had a huge voting surge, seemingly overnight.
Yeah, that's what i thought so too. And now its gone stale for Fenris too for some reason, while the rest of us are slowly catching up to him. (He have only had two or three upvotes in a day). His card is Hilariously overpowered, and dosen't really introduce something new.
I feel like a lot of the experienced card designers like each others posts a lot more frequent than the not so well experienced ones, it may be a coincidence, but it feels like its kinda a tradestream of upvotes, where if one upvotes the other, the other one upvotes the first and so on. Which could also just be paranoia, but what do i know.
This is not a rant against his card btw, i don't think its a badly designed card, it just feels more.... Okayish, its a okay design, and proberly about slightly over average of what cards i have seen over the pages. It just feels strange that a card goes from one of the worse performing cards on the page, to suddenly gain a ton of upvotes, just to get completely stale again.

Hey thanks Toble! I really like Magic Curtain too, in fact I'd say if you make it to the final you have an excellent chance!
I also don't get the sudden explosion of votes for Fenris, it's way op imo. 5 mana summon 3 minions and buff your whole board is just nuts!
Hopefully one of the 3 of us will make it to the final! If either of you guys do you'll have my vote :)
In the end it's only my first time submitting a card so I'm chuffed that Big Little Tough Guy has gotten 40 votes :)
Maybe i should look at it the same way you do. This is only my secound time i have submitted a card, and the first time it vanished because i diden't know how to properly upload it.
So you two also think that I copied Fullas. Listen like I told the Mods, It was my idea first, he just released his idea to to public before me. I had my Jandice Barov in a notebook long before Fullas published his video.
Even if it was your idea first you shouldn't post an idea that many people have viewed and not even mention that it could be viewed from whatever video. You're better off making a new card. They way your submission looked, it was like you just stole the card and changed the stats/mana cost.

Doesn't matter. It was Murozond's card first. Like he said, he said notebooks back in 2015 that prove it.

No love for my drunken dwarves? T_T :P
It won't matter probably, as I think no one except maybe the best one from the page will go through :( (bar Wildcards, at least)

Yeah, that's the thing I hope the mods take into consideration when giving wild cards... the pages with very strong entries that end up not getting many (or any) through. Good luck! I voted for ya.
My entry is HERE if you/anyone wants to check it out xD

I've been doing some calculations following the formula posted on the first page:
(ab) / (c) = x
Where, a = The total number of submissions on the same page as the submission. b = The total number of up-votes that the submission received. c = The total number of up-votes on the same page as the submission. x = The submission's final score.
Page 2 using the current leader Magic Curtain with 50 votes:
(20*50) / 321 = 3.115
Page 10 using current leader Sundering with 9 votes
(20*9) / 38 = 4.737
That just doesn't seem right to me, the difference in the score is huge!
I think the value of a should equal the number of valid submissions with at least 1 vote, so 0 vote submissions are discounted. This would help correct the discrepancy created by the assumption that every page has an equal distribution of strong and weak cards.
With my revised calculation the results are the following:
Page 2 using the current leader Magic Curtain with 50 votes:
(18*50) / 321 = 2.804
Page 10 using current leader Sundering with 9 votes
(13*9) / 38 = 3.079
Sundering still has the lead but the margin is far more realistic.
I know it's too late, but just wanted to share a flavour-oozing concept :)
So you get a minion that died at a certain position on the board. If you had no minion die at that specific spot, you wont get anything (like an empty grave).

Wait, what happened? My card was doing horrible, now it's actually doing pretty decent. The wonders of this competition.
