Since there's no Death Knight class in Hearthstone I had to think which class should get the first Death Knight. The easiest answer would've been Warlock. However the card doesn't suit Warlock thematically. In my opinion the effect would've also been too strong for a neutral minion. I also happen to like Warrior a lot and the effect feels like a Warrior effect. The effect design was inspired by the ability Unholy Armor from Warcraft 2.
You can use it early on and pick a Flash Heal for some good removal, or you can use it later for a bigger minion like a Corrupted Healbot. Since it only costs 2, though, you can generally use the healing effect the same turn you discover it, so it's also useful for healing if you're desperate.
It's likely too strong for 2 mana, and should either cost 1 more or have less health. Priests do need a good 2/3 for 2 minion, though.
"She lets you see into your future. She also lets your opponent see into your future. Privacy is dead."
I wanted to see some use out of the 'reveal' mechanic in cards like Tuskarr Jouster, where both players can see a card in the deck. As a Prophet, she's able to 'see into the future' so you know what demon will be summoned by the deathrattle. This allows you to plan ahead knowing what minion you'll summon, though your opponent can also prepare themselves for it. It'd be the only 8 mana Demon, giving it a place in decks with demon synergy or lategame in mind. This card can be weak or strong, depending on what mana cost demons you put in your deck, putting an emphasis on strategic deck building.
Rogues have gotta be getting all their Deadly Poison from somewhere, right?
The spider deals 2 damage when it's summoned, spitting poison as a warning. It then deals 2 damage when it attacks or is attacked, biting to fend off opponents. And when it is felled, you can harvest the ingredients from its body to make your weapon deal an extra 2 damage as well!
He takes one card from you to make an extra copy of it. Overall this effect is on average slightly worse than Loot Hoarder so i think stats are fair. There is also always the risk of getting silenced.
Nearly a functional inversion of Darnassus Aspirant, Glade Seeker accelerates your late game more reliably alongside a decent body, at the cost of tempo. While being weak to silence, it could be a strong tool against aggresive decks, as a way to remove a threat and move closer towards playing your own threats.
Overload is fun.

The inspiration for this was the Sentry Totem from WoW, that lets you see far distances. Basically a totem version of Far Sight.

This card can give you a good tempo swing on an empty board.

Can be used for some rather creative plays in my opinion.
So, I am officially out of ideas (the adventure competition is leeching my brainpower)
Sometimes, you just want to see the world burn.
Battlecry, if targetable, can be targeted, but in keeping with the theme, you don't actually know what it is until you choose a target.

Inspired by Liliana from magic. Anyone familiar with her knows the potential and the fun. :P
