I've been hanging onto the Golden Black Knight for a few months now, and never once have I put him in a deck. I had hoped the release of TGT would bring him back so I could use him, but it is quite clear that this will not happen anytime soon (it seems the number of taunts being used now has decreased even more after the expansion). I'm seriously considering disenchanting him, but I'm still shaky about it.
The other golden legendary I have, Eydis Darkbane, I just can't see myself playing. She doesn't really fit into any decks I play or plan on playing (Temp/Dragon Mage, Dragon Priest, Midrange Paladin, Totem Shaman, etc.) So i'm considering just disenchanting her.
In total, I would have 3200 dust to work with. I plan to craft the following cards:
Twilight Guardian x 2- A must have in any dragon deck... a must have that I was unable to get despite opening many TGT packs since release (every single coin I earned since the release came out has been spent towards those dang packs!!!)
Mysterious Challenger - I want to try out the secret paladin, and he's just too good to pass up. I've already got one of them, but a lot of the secret paladins play two.
Chillmaw - Considered to be a powerful addition to dragon decks by some, and a horrible addition by others
Alternatively, I could craft Malygos who is a very powerful addition to decks like warlock and rogue.
My final alternative to the legendary is Al'akir, because I do play a lot of shaman now and he's just a beast in it.
If you dont care about golden animations you have literally nothing to loose. Trade em up, especially if it makes some decks viable you wanna play (like dragon decks, secretadin or shaman)

“My armor is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!” - Smaug
Dragon Priest is currently Tier 1 and quite good in laddering. I'd DE those legends and get Chillmaw and the 2 Twilight Guardians. You'll have 400 dust left which you can also use for the 2nd Mysterious Challenger. Overall looks like you can get 2 decent decks for those unused legendaries.
If you want to play Dragons you definitely need the Guardians but Chillmaw is a bit underwhelming to me. Played him in my Dragon Warrior and Priest decks and he doesn't really do that much because your opponent can decide when to pop the AoE. If you enjoy playing Shaman that much you should go for Al Akir for sure and if you really want to join the cancer crew then craft your 2nd Challenger.

Thoughts? Please give me some good advice here.
If there are other things you really wanna play, go for it.
Its not the worse idea to dust If you have a plan and are ready to play things you have had your eye on.
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
Trading a bad legendary(Darkbanes) with 1 legendary of your choice or 4 epics is not even debatable go for it.
