I think it's definitely playable, especially in slower decks. Either you play it early and luck out on a 2 mana 3/6 taunt, or you will eventually trigger it, giving you a nice little tempo boost, especially if you have time out in your deck.
Wow, this card is going to be absolute cancer in some situations. If you coin this out on turn 1 and your opponent didn't play a minion on turn 1, you sometimes just get a free 3/6 taunt that can attack on turn 2. Remember back to tar creeper and how it could let you snowball a board behind it and imagine how powerful this could be.
This card look good, but it is good enough to fit in a deck ? I doubt so. It is a dead draw in late game and doesn't do much against certain class even in early game, when Paladin doesn't have any way to contest board. I really can't see this taking any spot for futur decks, just like all the sidequest I saw so far.
When played on turn 2 and opponent has no way of dealing damage to face (plays no minion at 1 mana or 2mana) & if they don't have a hero power that deals damage, insanely powerful. However once the enemy has won the board and is constantly hitting face, it would be difficult to finish the quest unless you play a big taunt minion or clear the board with equality/shrink ray. Considering how it may turn into 2mana do nothing for 7,8turns, not sure if the card would be worth putting into a deck.

Exactly. It's basically a secret, and a strong one at that. Unless you are facing aggro that can constantly push face damage, you will get a 3/6 taunt for 2 mana. That's really, really good.
