There should be a neutral card that makes your weapon immune for a turn maybe a 1 mana 1/2 battlecry your weapon in immune until the start of your next turn perhaps?
QUOTE_ME_WHEN_RECRUIT_IS_TIER 1 but I don't see the big deal with the recruit mechanic. It causes you to play fewer battlecries and more "end of turn" effects and generally bigger bodies to take advantage of it. Battlecry minions are some of the most powerful things the game has going. Why would I want to remove Crackling Razormaw from my deck so I can play Kathrena Wintersoldier and turning my consistent agro deck into a high-roll top heavy control deck?
I hope recruit is not the main focus of the cards yet to come. It's not even that good in arena. Battlecries are half the value of the cards we all draft currently. Who the hell wants to accidentally recruit Bonemare or Deathspeaker? I'm not looking for a different mechanic I just don't want any more of this one, seems low-key very weak.
With the Paladin/Druid/Rogue weapons falling into the "don't ooze me bro" category maybe they will just let the meta balance out weapon killer effects. If everyone techs in ooze for the legendary weapons then the NON-legend weapon cards get better because folks will hold the tech card for the legend.
Also if everyone runs weapon tech then less weapons will be played, which means the tech gets worse, and since what looks like the dominant class will be dragon priest (probably without Dragon Soul) and including weapon tech will make your deck worse vs the prevailing class. This will cause people to drop it in favor of anti-dragon priest tech, meaning the legend weapons will start to see play again.
What about Baron Wish you were there a 4 mana 1/7 that says recruit works twice? They seem to like odd do things twice cards now then
Not quite but we did get a does a thing twice card so I'll take it. Also has anyone noticed we don't have any 8/8's in this whole set yet? so possibly giants still to come?
There has to be a reason that all of the Common Hunter cards have remained hidden this whole time. There will be a community wide "ah ha" moment in about 3 hours.
But the current meta will be gone on Thursday. Warrior got enough armor cards to hard counter Razakus Priest, a deck stacked with armor gain and big threats is what Razakus can't deal with.

Don't see it. I love Control Warrior but I'm pretty sure it'll still be trash tier come KaC, maybe next expansion though.
What if there are some crazy bombs in the neutral pool that synergize with all the Recruit stuff.
We have not seen any charge minions yet... I expect a few expensive ones, maybe like Leeroy Jenkins with drawback. We know how they like RNG, and recruit/charge could be interesting.

The anti-ooze card would be Val'anyr.

10 bucks says they make a card with the effect "Recruit a minion with Recruit in its effect"
kisses are a better fate than wisdom
2 mana 2/3 Battlecry Summon a random recruit minion
kisses are a better fate than wisdom
There has to be some kind of recruit or recruit chain effect
Maybe Recruitment Officer 4 mana 3/4 Deathrattle Summon a Random Recruit card from your hand

I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius

Really hoping for something that counters the current meta
5 mana 4/6 - Battlecry: Both players cannot play spells on their next turn.
This gives any minion centric deck a chance to survive otherwise it's hard to see a point in playing any aggro/tempo decks when expansion is released.
Warrior got new AOE, Mage got new AOE, Priest got TWO very good AOEs on top of that there are also a few very good early defensive minions

Since warrior has the best tools for dealing with big threats and even large boards filled with big stuff, I think they have a chance.
