In the recents adventures and expansions, Blizzard's decided to print some powercreeps. It seems like the community hate power creeps with a passion, but maybe blizzard has to print powercreeps or bad cards to help balancing the game in a good way.
It just occured to me that maybe blizzard realized they fucked up with the portals adventur.. i mean karazhan, and are trying hard to balance the owerpowered portals, with releasing bad or vanilla minions at some of the mana slots weakening the portals. Also there is no need for all the new cards to be powerful, some of them could be just cool or at least interesting and fun. Its a game after all. At least thats my thoughts
People always analyse cards individually, not looking at the wider way you can get them. Nat Darkfisher, while not a card that I want in my deck, is one I want from Monkey in a control matchup. Especially with the tri-class cards this xpac I think we will see cards which may have a better use outside of "putting it in your deck", and I am very happy for it.
They don't just print filler cards to balance the random effects, they design and balance the random effects around the fact that there are bad and mediocre outcomes.

It was pretty apparent that they did it with Murloc Knight.
Still I don't see any reason to print cards like Auctionmaster Beardo
Yeah it seems very bad, but maybe, just maybe, there is cards with mad synergy, this expansion or in the future, but propably not.
