My proposal would hurts any warrior player, bur I'm pretty sure that blizzard should nerf fiery war axe.

Look on the ladder now. There is new stupid zoo archetype, called tempo warrior. That's just because of that overpowered weapon. Warrior get to easy control of the board.
P.S: And what about shaman's thing from bellow? Why this card deserves to lower cost while it's in the deck. But druid's card knight of the wild have to be in your hand? Ridiculous shit, i say.
I agree Fiery War Axe is powerful, but thats the only viable tempo weapon warriors currently have and how are warriors supposed to remove tunnel troggs, mana wyrms and other crap then? Shield Slam? Fact is if you don't draw Fiery War Axe early you are pretty much fucked against tempo/aggro decks.
Yeah it's really a shame that Knight of the Wild doesn't work the same way as Thing from Below. It would probably make a place in the newer Beast Druid decks.

Yep. Knight of the wild is trash tier, and it's great that blizz have learned from their early mistake and are now giving us playable cards like Thing from Below using a similar costing mechanic.
bbqegg, armor up helps you to shield slam. That's nice removal, in case of control warrior also very flexible (can hits your own sylvanas, just to remind)

This is intended. This is the Warrior-Discount on Weapons. Mages have the same discount on Damage Spells. For example: While a 3/2 weapon cost normally 3 mana as it should be, Warrior get an discount of 1 mana on it. The same is true for Mages: Arcane Missiles deals 3 damage, would normally cost 2 mana. Mages get an discount of 1 mana on it. Fireball's exactly the same.
It's the only way for a warrior to have a chance in the tempo game. There is certainly counter play available to it as well. If your 1 drop is axed, you can play ooze on 2, or manaworm coin mirror image. Dark peddler, coin void walker, priest has the 2/4 taunt in dragon decks, or just play an annoying death rattle. How was war axe vs haunted creeper? Pretty darn terrible! The freeze mechanics are insane vs weapons, but aren't run very often. The possessed villager trades evenly with a 2 drop. It's really insane. Yes the war axe is strong, but not as strong as it used to be. It's not firery win axe anymore. It is an indispensable tool vs aggro that you have to give up your life total in order to use. Even then it only gives you a chance of keeping tempo.
Arcane missiles is now almost not an option anymore. Why? Do you want to stack armor (armorshield), or give opponent more cards (acolite) or maybe trigger enrage (bloodhoof brave). Name it!

That's fair to have any counter/removal. But warrior get total control over board in first two turns, that's too op imo.
Only valuable cards you can play on board, which can't be removed is argent squire and worgen infiltrator. Ok let's play aggro...
