1 - Cairne 2 - Ragnaros 3 - The Black Knight 4 - Ysera 5 - Sylvanas.
Cairne and TBK are almost ever guaranteed value but TBK is a bit situational. Ysera is too RNG to be awesome (and too slow) but still a great card. Leeroy 4 mana deal 6 damage or 8 mana 20 damage with rogue. Sylvanas makes people do stupid things.
With class cards:
1 - Tirion Fordring 2 - Cairne 3 - Ragnaros 4 - Cenarius 5 - The Black Knight
Tirion is awesome, 6/6 body is immune to BGH and heavy enough that you won't be sad when he is silenced and his deathrattle rocks. Cenarius gives you flexibility and his stats are great (sadly 5 attack is vulnarable to SW:D but it's ok).
I have both of the top two in your second list :) in my Palidan deck! The only thing I'd warn is that silence or hex is absolutely devestating to the value of both those cards. Polymporph is rough too, but that is why you play your sunwalkers first!
This is my list
1. Leeroy Jenkins: Simply because it is almost a guaranteed win if played right.
2. Ragnaros: Automatic 8 damage and silence just makes it an 8/8 that CAN attack you.
3. Tirion Fordring: Divine Shield, Taunt, 6/6 that gives you a 15 damage weapon, yes please.
4. Cairne Bloodhoof: Two yeti's unless silenced/hex'd/polymporphed'd.
anyone wanna share what they think the bottom half of the top 10 would look like? based on what people have said, the top 5 are ragnaros, leeroy, thalnos, cairne, TBK (not in order).
I would put ysera, alex, tirion, sylvanas and harrison as 6-10. not sure about the order

6. Sylvanas: Nothing is quite as annoying as a 5/5 that steals your stuff.
7. Ysera: Dream cards are my nightmare..
8. Archmage Antonidas: Anyone who has faced this feels my pain.
9. Malygos: Because 5 damage moonfire is just awful. 9 damage soulfire, even worse.
10. Alexstraza: Simply because you can go from winning to losing in one turn.
I look at these list and I laugh so hard.....Some cards in there are only in one deck and never any others and yet people think this makes them worthy of a top 5 slot....Faceplant...

Claiming ragnaros is top 3 makes me facepalm, it's literally a coin flip.
in Rag's defense, it's a coin flip that can be set up against a clear board to guarentee AT LEAST 1 8 damage nuke. then if it's not dealt with it goes on to control big drops by itself. flooding the board against it only buys some time and if and only if rag doesnt decide to luckpyro face the second turn it's out. 8/8 body means you cant just throw nukes at it either

Exactly, and it would not be used so commonly if it were not top 5. I get that it can and has killed my 1/1 silverhand recruits at times, but more often than not it kills something I need or me, and silencing it does nothing. Literally the only answer is to kill it which is just a pain, polymorph it, hex it, or Big Game Hunter. Plus it is only 8 mana, that is why.
I dont know what position to give rag, but he's definitely in the top 5 for me. The way Rag can seal your lead or swing a losing game(if RNGesus is being nice) is pretty huge so i would put him somewhere in the top 5
From the perspective of my priest, but not in order:Ysera - Immune to Pain and Death, with high enough health that it can trade 2-3 for 1 easily. Easiest way to destroy it is crazed alchemist (or inner fire) followed by death, or sylvanas/death, or mind control. Cairn - A double yeti. High enough health that it evades nova+smite, injured blademaster, etc., soulpriest+circle, etc., and then it comes back Leeroy Jenkins - When you see it, you're usually dead that turn. It's a pretty ridiculous card in its own right -- a fireball that has to be killed later and can be bounced. Even if the whelps had taunt, it would be still be overpowered. Clearing 1/1s is easy (FoK/whirlwind/arcane explosion, what have you). A fantastic card for any deck. Jaraxas - Resets the clock and comes back with a weapon and 6/6s.
I am having a very hard time deciding between Rag and Thalnos. I like Mage decks, getting in to shamans...thalnos seems like an obvious choice...but rag just seems to be more powerful of a card that can swing a game better than thalnos...any advice?
The present praise for Thalnos surprises me. It's a card of value, but goodness gracious. That one drawn card really makes a difference for Shamans and Mages. Or am I missing something? Cairne better not get silenced or the silence better end up working out in your favor in the context of the game.
As far as I'm concerned Bloodmage Thalnos has always been one of the best legendaries in the game. It's a low-cost spell damage minion that leads to excellent spell combos, and when it's killed it cycles itself. It's basically two cards for one slot; think of it as a Kobold Geomancer and a Novice Engineer combined.

you could technically even silence it yourself turn 2 for a directed attack if needed (silences are getting more prevalent in this game, no?)

1. Leeroy
2. Cairne
3. TBK
4. Ragnaros

So one class legendary that keeps popping up is Tirion Fordring. Just a question is he worth crafting or should I wait until he arrives in a pack?
Die, mage!
Worst class leg card for me. I got it but never used :D
my opinion...
1. Leeroy
2.Ragnaros
3.TBK

alex is seeing a lot of play from freeze mages and some priest decks these days
