I'm relatively new to Hearthstone - been playing for a few weeks now. I've got a meager amount of dust and would like to know which cards are going to be the highest value to craft. Obviously, the answer to that is dependent on which deck I want to build - I realize that. But it seems there are some cards like Azure Drake and Defender of Argus that make their way into a large majority of many different types of decks.
What would you say are the top (10?) cards that are highly versatile, played in many different kinds of decks, and that I won't regret crafting or find later that I need to disenchant to get the cards I really need for a deck? Which cards, essentially, can you really not go wrong with, and will be useful in many/most decks?
*Edit* I'm also looking at non-legendaries here - I have limited dust and can't afford to spend real money on the game at this point.
that's 8. I'd have a tough time including just 2 more to make a top 10. perhaps big game hunter and gadgetzan auctioneer, both potentially great cards, but more niche. I rarely find bgh necessary, and gadgetzan is most useful in rogue since they have the most cheap spells, though he's ok in mage and some others as well. suffice it to say I don't hold either in as high regard as the 8 listed above, though they'd be in the next tier which would include other good cards that are likewise more dependent on deck and meta.

assuming you mean neutral rares and epics (if you want to include class cards or commons, feel free to correct) I'd say something like:
knife juggler, sunfury protector, wild pyromancer, defender of argus, azure drake, argent commander, sunwalker, faceless manipulator.

4) Faceless Manipulator

7) Argent Squire
8) Faerie Dragon

Get the commons (green) above firsts. They can be the base to almost any deck you want to build and they are the cheapest to craft.
Awesome - thanks y'all.
