i switched to wild and enjoy it really well. i am just curios at which rank i get 11 stars? i got 11 stars in standard at 2000. i think in wild are fewer players, so i need a better rank, didnt i?
is not a rank itself, yeha, you need to reach legends first, but in order to reach 11 stars yoou need a really good winrate to increase your mmr. what would be called a high legend player
Last month I got it by finishing at top500. However it is technically MMR-based and not rank-based (but rank is a very good proxy for MMR), so there is no hard rule for what rank you need

No, you don't need to reach legend, just to be within an certain top % of players based on MMR. I actually did just that a season I had a very good winrate but didn't play quite enough games to reach legend.
It is Match-Making-Rating, a number which should show your skill-level pretty accurately given some time. It is used by the matchmaker to give you opponents at a similar level. On the Hearthstone ladder, this number is unfortunately hidden, but in Battlegrounds it is shown.
I have not studied in detalil how the number is calculated, but it generally pays off to win vs higher ranked opponents, and you are punished for losing to lower ranked ones.

Can someone explain to me what MMR is, please?

MMR-ratings are pretty common in the world of sports, and are often used to set up tournaments to avoid that strong teams/players knock eachother out early:
