Hello everyone, as the title says, I haven't played in a very LONG time and I would love to build a strong standard deck, but I don't even know all the standard cards at the moment.
I have a lot of old cards that I won't use since I'll be playing Standard mode, so I don't really mind disenchanting them, this includes plenty of legendary cards. I also have around 2400 arcane dust.
Which decks would you recommend?? Could you send links?? I need a Priest, Rogue and Warlock deck...
I think that by now it’s quite important to realise that disenchanting wild cards is just not something I would recommend as Standard definitelly tends to get really horribly stale and you’ll be glad you kept some of those good/wacky wild cards and legendaries.
Most Odd Rogue lists are absolute beasts on ladder, but if that’s not your thing, Miracle is still a feasable deck to play.
Not much of a Priest player in Standard so I can’t help you on that one.
As for Warlock, Evenlock is your best bet. Has a lot of classic cards in it so you might have a decent base that you can further improve upon by crafting some cards.

For Rogue: Recommend crafting Odd rogue, as it is quite cheap (you'll have to craft baku the mooneater, but baku is useful in a ton of other decks that you might want to play down the line) and one of the most powerful decks at the moment. Also, if you have leeroy and van cleef, you could build a miracle/tempo style deck (you'll have to craft 2 versions of Faldorei Stridor (epic))
For Warlock: Zoo Warlock is always a useful and cheap deck. In order to have an optimal winrate, you might want to consider crafting the Soularium, but the deck is playable without it as well. Control/Cube Warlocks play a lot of new legendaries and might be a little too expensive.
For Priest, you might find it a little harder to build a cheap deck, but you can try building a control priest if you already have alexstraza. You'll have to craft shadowreaper anduin and a few epics, but its a pretty fun deck imo. You could also try going down a mecha'thun path (?) as mechathun also works in druid and warlock, but that might be quite exensive.
All of the decklists can be found on hsreplays.com, and you can compare different classes, different versions of the deck and even the winrate. Highly recommend you use it at the start to help you figuer out the core cards for whatever deck you'd like to make. Have fun!
If you stay, don’t disenchant. Shuffle Rogue is the coolest deck out there now. Goolgle J4ckiechans Shuffle Rogue and you won’t be disappointed. It’s not too expensive either.
dont do paladin. It’s a noob deck that is incredibly boring. And it gets smashed by a lot of decks. I think the winrate is very inflated as a bunch of shitheads probably “farm” at low levels. I haven’t lost to one in quite a while.
I came bk to this game like 2 weeks ago and tried to play with my old 12-14k control/big mage (alana/jaina/geddon/alex/astromancers/scouts/meteors/dragonbreaths etc) but it sucks (meta versions also use lk, sindragosa, ziliax i dont have and it prolly sucks anyways)... bounced around rank 17... meanwhile zoolock is quite braindead and brought me to rank 10 with 70% winrate... I plan to get rank 5 with it before the end of this month.... a bit late to craft kaleseth but w/e... overall there's a lot of power creep in this game and it's harder than ever to get rank without a meta deck
Players of different skill levels will tell you different things. You'll have: -
The perma level pros, who reach Legend with the power of pure though and piss on mere mortals. if you dare to admit you get to getting stuck at lower levels, you'll get roasted.
Those that tell you the meta has 9876845654436b.4 different meta decks and is totally fine. Your inability to know the future and respond to micro nuances sees you dead and labelled "noob"
People like me, who having hit legend a few seasons agp, struggle to get past rank 10 as the game is decided by your class and deck.
get used to seeing whatever your polar opposite deck is being thrown at you often.
Naturally I'm salty as fuck. The meta is too varied and you'd be best to save both money and dust till the card reveals are done.

Don't disenchant. Spend some money on packs and then craft what you need. Or don't play.

Quick, get out while you still can !!

Ty guys for your answers, I wont be disenchanting, maybe only the cards I'm for sure certain I wont use and only if necessary.
