From what I understand shouldn't a control meta be more profitable in terms of money? most aggro decks are cheap, and that's one of the reasons why they are so rampant in any expansion. Best example is the ever so cancerous Face Hunter (High mane should be a legendary card).
I've been playing the game for a year now. And there is just isn't a time where playing an aggro deck was worse than playing a control deck, it's just a faster, easier and more probable way to win. How about one expansion where you actually get to play most of your cards and reach turn 10 frequently. IMO one of the most unique features of hearthstone as a card game is fatigue, yet it's barely relevant most of the games.
It's a card game and bound to happen. I've never been a aggro player and love rofling stomping them with anti aggro decks. I also enjoy the long drawn out control match ups. All about right moves and reading possible plays. (No I'm not the best Hs player lol) it's fun if you just learn to accept it. You win and lose. I understand Rng and luck also plays a roll in some match ups. It's like when I play dragon priest and end up battling a freeze mage I know I have a low % to beat them but can get lucky if I roll a ice block from drakenoid it increases win rate. It's simple plays like that. Just enjoy the game. HF n GL
You're missing the big scheme here. Aggro means short games which can be played on your mobile while waiting for the bus or whatever. This flexibility means more players, which means more money.
Which would also mean players who are tired of aggro leave and stop buying packs.

G=Good B=Bad Do you see the pattern? Every second expansion is always trash.
Ladder-wise, yeah, aggro is more efficient to climb until rank 5 at least. That is one problem. They say there are changes coming to the ladder system, maybe the aggro thing gets addressed.
But control decks are doing fine currently... control paladin & control mage are very good, jade druid too, taunt warrior is still ok. They're competitive and can get you over 50% wins easily, if you know what you're doing.
I hope fatigue never comes back. I love Jade Idol for that reason alone - it forced control decks to actually build a win condition into their decks. I don't care if that win condition doesn't come until turn 12, but it SHOULD have to be there.
I honestly think blizzard thinks they fixed the abundance of aggro decks every expansion they release and people finally will use a lot of there new released cards to make some fun and exciting decks.
To find out a few days into a new expansion there are 1 -2 face decks destoying every effort that is made to come up with a cool new deck.
But to be honest it isnt to bad atm, a face warrior once in a while or to a lesser extend a face druid but its mostly jade "something" decks that i encounter.

Fatigue is a win condition. Jade just makes it so that no matter what late game win condition you have is rendered useless.
Fatigue decks is something definitely should be there. It's a kind of mix of regular mill and force discard decl types in MTG. Only there is one big difference in that MTG have a graveyard in which you can play certain types of cards from it or cards that return them to hand.
Hearthstone needs more mechanics both for fatigue and anti fatigue for these kinds of decks for a more healthy game.

Face hunter has been bad for over a year now. Aggro is now less dominant than ever due to the quest rogue nerf.
Face hunter and highmane in the same post
This guy doesn't seem to know what an aggro deck is.
Aggro is necesary. It is always the same topic...
I became Legend playing with Aggro and Control too.
I love playing Aggro the same I love playing control Mid or slower decks.
Sometimes fast aggressive turn 4-5 kill is so much fun and sometimes strategy combos and chess like game is nice too.
You can always find anti aggro deck and it will be fun as well to counter them.
Good Luck ;-)

The worst part of threads like this is that the posters don't even understand enough to know what they don't understand.
