atm i m rank 10 playing maly rogue . i have 100% lose rating agains shaman's
how you win agains this "PRO" deck
Try not to take too much damage early, and generally be greedy with fan of knives. Evolved Kobold is awesome against shamans if you run it, the difference between +1 and +2 spellpower is huge.
Considering that the next expansion is coming out next month and that Blizzard just might do something about midrange shaman I will use the opportunity to try to get to legend with it this month while it is still good.
Hi, I recently moved and am without wifi for a while. I was wondering if any of you wonderful legend-bound lads would be so kind to let me spectate you on your journey! I have limited data on my phone, and the hearthstone client uses a negligible amount of data compared to twitch (and I'm pretty much addicted to watching hearthstone at this point). Add me if you are interested :)
last season i was focusing on wild playing secret pally, until i got hit with priests that dragged me all the way down to 10 and pummled all my efforts, this season i crafted Maly and i wanted to change to standard to play druid, but for my luck as soon as i hit the gates of 15, CW and shamans and some lucky prists or paladin drags me down, im doing everything right, and i haven't hit legend once, im gonna keep on playing druid although im seeing some harrison - geddeon additions but i can't afford to craft them for just one deck, im struggling, and im getting tired of getting beat up, still im playing this game

Planning to go to at least rank 5 as well, made it 4 or 5 times in the last 7 seasons. Only made it with Hunter though, now I'm trying with Malyrogue. Dropped from 12 to 14 today by going 5-10 today so I stopped. What are the winrates you guys are having with Secret Hunter, I'm thinking about switching to that. I'm 55% now (47-39) with 3 different versions of Malyrogue this season.
havent reached rank 5 for 3 months now... due to vacation and moving to a new house...
This month I am going to give it a shot... rank 5 at least, but then I am going to do the grind to legend... if I can find enough time that is and if I dont get discouraged....
Playing with my control priest (average game 14 turns according to decktracker)... so the road is long...
Managed to get to rank 7 within the first three days of the month. And 5 days later, I'm still rank 7. Win one, lose one... I played mostly Maly rogue, and dragon control warrior. Maybe I'll just switch to shaman, eventhough I don't want to.

Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
After my last post, I went back to rank 8 - 2 stars. Didn't know what to play, so I switched over to N'zoth Shaman. Went from rank 8 - 2 stars to rank 5 - 2 stars. With a 10-2 in stats.
Luckily for me, I haven't met a single control/C'thun/N'zoth warrior today (which is this decks nemesis). Hopefully this streak will continue :)

shaman's medicine is on wild, standard is filled with shaman's deck and mostly the same midrange, its exhausting you can even enjoy the game unless you get a good card draw that will wreck havoc upon them, im playing dragon pally i started yesterday and RNG is a witch with a capital B

I would actually say that there is more Shaman counter decks on standard ladder right now, than Shamans itself. C'thun warrior, N'zoth warrior, Control Shamans etc etc.

I got a Hunter quest in the beginning of this season, and decided to try Secret Hunter. About 74% winrate from Rank 20 to 13. Then my winrate fell to ~65% to Rank 8. Never climbed so fast in my life, so happy. Best rank ever is Rank 4, so I am/was hoping for legend this season.
Now however I'm Rank 7, and my winrate has dropped to 54%. Wondering if I should switch to Midrange Shaman or something else. Getting owned by Warrior and Shamans lately, but also losing to others. Any tips/ideas?
(I'm mainly a Priest player, but haven't had any luck with it this season)
@ Znakebyte: If you aim at legend shaman is definitely a strong pick if you enjoy it, it is strong against literally everything. Secret hunter, be it face or midrange, can also get you there even though it lags behind shaman in term of power level, just choose what you prefer and are most comfortable with.
Just be serious when you play, try to analyze your games to see what you could have done better, and don't play when tilted or drunk.
If you netdeck, I'd advise you to trust the Vicious Syndicate decklists rather than the Tempo Storm, TS lists tend to be weird. And if you want a midrange shaman list to climb, here is mine, with exactly 1 card that makes it different than most mid shammys :D http://imgur.com/a/PrVeQ
Just had a run from rank 11 to rank 8 without a single loss.
And people say shaman is overpowered. Pffffff!
I really feel like I'm gonna reach legend this month! Feels absolutely fantastic!

Considering the meta right now, I'm probably gonna go with N'zoth Hunter. What's better than 2 highmanes? 4 highmanes!

Sounds like it might be fun/whooty woot... where do I sign up?
rank 5 because of high legend? And can you post your control beast druid, it sounds awesome :D

Thanks for replying :) Started with a list similar to this: https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/decks/secret-hunter-standard-meta-snapshot-oct-27-2016, but trying variations now to see if I can turn the trend. Taken out the two Houndmasters for an additional Explosive Trap and for example Tundra Rhino .
