Beat him as hunter :D goal is to be quick.. But you need to have good synergistic deck, that's important to beat any final boss. Keep trying, these bosses aren't unbeatable.
There's no really strategy, it's just pure RNG encounter, you need him not to mill your best cards (like treasures) and not get too lucky with Voidcaller & Bane of doom, Everytime he gets Mal'ganis or Doomguard off of those, I insta lose.
Since you're on a clock, the best strategy I found to beat him is... to get the treasure Wish which is completely overpowered.
Yah Synergy is important. I have had most luck with him when I have been able to regenerate minions. Also try to create the deck so that you not need a few key card
The last time I faced him I had a strong silver hand build going, but he got Despicable Devourer out, and that really prevented me from getting anything going.

Err... what? I don't remember that card: perhaps he didn't draw it when I fought him?
Anyway, I say the key is having erm.... less synergy? What I mean is, you can't rely on Legendary cards like Val'anyr, even in multiple, because your odds of drawing any particular card just went to hell. So a large number of cards that are just good strong base value is my recc.
I got lucky like Marin with a similar set up: double Captured Flags, and a fair number of buffs. Less Silver Hand specific stuff, but if your SHRs from Hero Power are good its less necessary. I watched Tirion, Lynessa, The Candle and I don't even remember what else burn up. But it's still doable.

Yeah the build I had was about buffing my silver hands.
I had the passive that buffed my hero power and reduced the cost, so I would get 2 for 1.
I just got boned by the devourer that I couldn't keep anything up past half a turn. He was also getting out some heavy hitters every turn past turn 3.
Huh. Perhaps I got lucky. I do not recall him getting many heavy hitters out. There were a few, and he discarded a few more, but I was able to go face fairly regularly with the occasional trade and build back up phase.
And I feel Captured Flag is better than Justicar's ring for Paladin. Instead of the upgrade, it's a flat +1/+1 for every minion you get. And it triggers off spell generated minions, hero power generated... it's pretty sweet. And I got it twice. I couldn't really make crazy Lightfused Stega plays since I usually only could get one or two recruits out at a time, but I still did fine by only taking 'Silver Hand' cards once, right before the end.
I just beat him as druid with the highest cost card in my deck as vermin sensei. Won thanks to the cube treasure. (Even though it gave him my Boombot box....)
On a side note I did get RNG cucked during this fight. He had 2 health left and when he killed my mounted raptor it gave him zombie chow as my one drop. I was able to chip through the 7 health before dying thanks to upgraded hero power on druid.
Any tactics on how to get through Azari?
Twice now I have gotten to the final boss and both times I have gotten him, and have just been ruined by his hero power.

Pick a card somewhere along the line that generates infinite value. I had Val'anyr in my deck and it carried single-handedly.
I had multiple of Val'anyr. Got dusted each time.

also if you're facing a lot of control, dirty rat, gnomeferatu and skulking geist are great tech cards.
I realise now you were not talking about the card you get from rin.. d'oh.
