I highly encourage people to give it a try. I played in one of the Las Vegas qualifiers, #84, and had tons of fun and got valuable experience. I came in to the tourney "blind" to the Specialist Meta. I used a Prince K Control/Doomguard/ Warlock lineup. I was lucky to face 2 Druids, which I lost the 1 games too, but then won the next 2 with my 3rd Tertiary deck, which I teched with Demonic Project, Gnomeferatu, and Mojomaster Zihi.
The 2nd and 3rd deck idea, or sideboard as some call it, was great to use. I really enjoy countering my opponent, and this format allows for that type of play! And boy was it easy to sign up for the tourney as well.
There are tourneys every day, all day, to fit everyones time schedules. Give it a try. Dont worry about your rank or how good you are, just enter and have fun and get experience.
Online. If you win though you qualify to a tournament held in Las Vegas.
Damn, I wish I could travel to Las Vegas whenever I want... :(
LOL I cant travel to Las Vegas either. I dont expect to actually win, although I am trying my best. Im hopeing there will be big tourneys anywhere else besides America. If not, Its still super fun to play in.

There will be three "big tournaments" this year - one in each region.
So stupid question. Where do you find what format the tournament is playing? Entering for Seoul qualifier and can’t find details. Thanks
Format is bo3 Specialist. One main deck and two side decks, each having at most 5 different cards than main deck. First game you have to queue with primary deck, you can switch decks in other two games.
no you dont! you get your practice playing in them. Seriously, play one. they are everyday, and most are free to enter. YOu have nothing to lose except games, and we all do that anyways?! Join one, you wont regret it!

Blizz isn't paying the travel expenses for that which has made a lot of pros upset. That trip isn't the cheapest unless you live near.
Yeah... :(
yes the games are not ranked, their in a special friendly setup.

the rules for each tourney are there when you open up Battlefly.net and click Hearthstone tournaments. You choose for this week, today etc.....
I need to practice more before I join it :D
Accepting is for Losers, Re-Learning is for winners.

Specialist format is fine, I've played some tournaments with new format and it feels playable. But I still like conquest more tho.
