I've been tracking the classes I see, and whether I win, lose, or one of us forfeits before turn 2 (technical difficulties or whatever). In 91 games played since the expansion, I've seen 29 Mage players, 13 Warlocks, between 5-9 for every other class except rogue, and just now played my first game against a rogue this set. My data set is from silver.
Just curious if anyone else has their own data points.
Funny you ask - I have been developing my own stat tracking software for the last 2 years. About 80 tabs, 4K lines of code - tracks literally everything in the game. Lots of data analysis built into it so I can compare my progress with any archetype/class vs any combination of opponent vs the meta average. Lots of charts and graphs.
In fact it's the only reason I keep playing this stupid fn game :)
I'm using the Hearthstone Deck Tracker that tracks everything. I honestly sometimes wish it didn't since I hate seeing my winrates being trash with top tier decks, but I have to live with it I guess.
The deck tracker does this automatically (tracking wins/losses and classes faced with each of your decks). Meanwhile I started already in March recording for each month my W/L score with each deck in standard and wild, with a split between 'Climbing to Legend' and 'In Legend'. This way I can also log scores of games played on mobile where I have no deck tracker...
I only keep track when I am in the grind zone, D10-D5 where I am out of bonus stars and games really matter. I am currently 19 wins out of 27 games, three stars away from Legend. Just so I know how good or bad I am doing. Sometimes it helps me break that feeling that I am only going back and forth without progress forever by showing me I have a good winrate after all. And sometimes it tells me I am stuck forever and maybe need to change decks :D
