ive been playing since Old Gods, and I’m trying to round out my collection. I’ve bought all the adventures, and dusted some cards that, at the time, I didn’t think I’d ever need. While some of the cards I dusted I nkw wish I had, I don’t feel like recrafting cards to play in wild. I do play wild from time to time, which is why I have a fairly solid collection, but I mainly play standard. Therefore, I’m only interested in crafting cards that are either in the Classic set or standard.
what I like to play: my favorite class changes often lol! Long time favorites include Rogue, Hunter, Warlock, and Mage. But I’m starting to get more interested in Druid. In fact, I’m thinking about crafting Malfurian but I don’t know yet.
I play all deck types, but midrange and control are my favorites. I like combo decks, but I’m usually not successful with them.
the deck slots I have now include Spell Hunter, Deagon Hunter, big spell mage, elemental mage, murloc mage, even shaman, even warlock, king togwaggle warlock, odd rogue, miracle rogue, hand druid, deviksaur Druid, recrut warrior, rush warrior, control and murloc paladin.
I have 3000 dust. My collection should be public. What cards am I missing that someone who’s been playing this game as long as I have should have?
If you look at some decks you will notice also a guide of Core cards of these decks. My advice: Watch some video about a deck (t1 or t2), if you like it: Find the cores card and look for synergies. Example: Control Priest is very playable and it use Alexstrasza and anduin, mind blast, as core. Is more a combo deck. Tempo mage... same deck same tech. Odd paladin? Baku. Obv. And also level up!, strong and a must.
If you want to netdeck just see some cool decks with excellent matchup. Or you could use core cards and build around them.
Mine is just a general advice. Feel free to ignore
Cool. I’m looking for more specific advice, but I like the idea of Anduin and Alexstrazsa. I wish I had more Dragons, because as it is now I only have Ysera. I’d love Alex or Malygos.
I’m not limiting myself to legendaries, epics are on my radar too.
Which would prove best in the long run? Malfurian opens up stronger Druid decks, while Alex is strong in several decks. If I made Anduin, I’d have to craft Alex too. Malfurian is in standard for another year, while Alex is good forever. But, a year is a long time to enjoy a nice card.
not sure what best but if i had to pick between Alexstrazsa and malygos ill pick Alextrazsa. I think she been in more decks and the deck's tend to be better. Malygos tend to be in combo deck that you like but those combo deck also normally have a lot more legendary card's.
I didnt look at you card collection so i dont know if you have the support card for Malygos.
Alexstrasza is the safest craft. She's useful in almost every control deck, and because she's classic, she will always find a way into the meta. Malygos is a very niche card, only ever useful in combo decks (but who knows). Shadowreaper Anduin has lost it's power since the Razakus days, and it's not even a 'core' card anymore. Many people don't run this card in several decks, even control priest. However, I would advise against Shadowreaper Anduin, because priest is not a very powerful class at all right now (I think it has the lowest win rate out of all classes). Malfurion the Pestilent is a powerful card that can fit in almost every druid deck, kind of like Fandral Staghelm.
Even besides all this, I would recommend waiting for a little while after the nerfs, because no decks are very prominent right now. I would wait for a few decks to rise to the top, find which one you like and then consider crafting.
Imo, Malfurion doesn't have the class cards yet to support as much different uses, which is my main criteria for crafting. He's strong, but his effect isn't as fun (choose between poison and weak taunts, plus a stronger yet similar HP). Alex has proven her utility many times already, so if you like the card, go for it.
Malygos is my favorite but isn't seen as much in T2+ decks. But if you like fun combo decks more than wins, it's a nice craft

Go for Alex, as someone said it's a good card in almost every control deck. My last advice is:
Big spell mage. Core cards: Alanna, Jaina dk, big spells. In this deck you could find a place for Alex and sindragosa. Also, Geist ensure you a great win rate against cube and taunt druid. You like dragon, so Alanna is a good card that summon for you a wall of dragon in late game. Sindragosa is useful for ping the 0/1 minion and get an elemental + legendary minion. Also, it's a very good deck in this meta if you have the patience and the luck drawing blizzard and flamestrike.

I'd recommend this:
https://hsreplay.net/meta/
So you can see which cards are in winning decks.
I’ve decided in the following possibilities:
Malfurian
Anduin
Alexstrazsa
Malygos
Which would prove best in the long run? Malfurian opens up stronger Druid decks, while Alex is strong in several decks. If I made Anduin, I’d have to craft Alex too. Malfurian is in standard for another year, while Alex is good forever. But, a year is a long time to enjoy a nice card.

I could play malygos rogue, but that’s about it likely. Maybe shaman. Malfurian is looking pretty good, and Alex seems like a safe craft.
