I put legendaries in 3 categories they can go into more then 1 they are exciting, "experimental" or pushed cards. Experimental effects is cards they not sure how to cost or card they think is to strong in multiples. This allow them to to try and better balance new card with the same effect or similar in the future.
Your hate for highlander decks is personal. The wild meta is so broken and polarized, that you can actually complain about every single meta deck. Are you traying to tell me odd pala, secret mage or quest mage are not consistent?
it is only the priest one i hate other is frustrating but i don't mind losing to reno decks. i hate the priest one because it denies everything you do and and kills you over multiple turns. and i didn't say the other non reno deck's isn't consistent i said highlander deck is consistent because they have to many option and it isnt a downside to go highlander at this point unless it highly synergistic deck quest mage(to some degree and odd paladin is synergistic deck's)
My hate of reno priest have reignited after the unnerf.
Even if priest reignited my hate since they are basically board wipes and a combo kill it that is super frustrating.
It not just priest but other reno deck in general in most cases it better to play a reno deck unless if your deck need very specific card's(so highly synergistic) reno deck have become so consistand why care about the penray it isn't one in most cases.
on priest and the unneref raza i just want the card to read your CURRENT hero power cost 0. that way they need to pick make my heal cost 0 or my damage not both.
here's my take on embiggen. the card is relatively fair. 1 mana is generally worth 2-4 stats depending on where a minion is on the curve. it also takes a card slot and your only buffing future draws.
The card was not a problem until winged guardian was released. I will go so far as to say it isn't even that card that is the problem but witching hour. I Feel that it's the resurrect effect that broke it. a giant uninteractable minion that can be resurrected for 3 mana after your opponent used a lot of minions to deal with it. Why do I say the ress effect broke it? just look at big priest and wall priest.
if it or guardian isn't nerfed we can see when rotasion happens if it was in fact the ress effect that broke the card. So i hope it doesn't get nerfed and blizzard can see resurrect effect is a problem in the game.
Edit: added. The ramp spell also mitigate the cost of the card (your minions costing 1 more) by not playing a turn behind your opponent.
I dont think its that bad. it can force play's that loses tempo. just taking hunter for example it can force a hunter to play a secret or play one of their 3 drops they didn't want to play maybe its hits a hyena or that 1/1 wolf so they have to play them out without value if they want to keep them. it can also force out early board clears maybe it hit brawl while you have 1 or 2 minions out or a flamestrike maybe it hits Zephyrs and now they have to play it t2/3
personally i think it's better in agro than a control deck and it is a tech card so it playable in the right meta.
