I have been playing hd for 3 years. I have always been f2p but and i have gathered a prety decent colection. I mostly play wuld just because i have so many wild cards.
Last year i started to use a new strategy. I de all class cards except priest and i've played priest as my main since. i did this because i couldn't have enough dust and gold to keep up with all the new expansions so i decided to focus only on one class and master it. And it worked great! It was the best year i had playing hs. i kept a few powerful cards from some other classes for brawls and adventures.
To keep up with all the new expansions i also started hoarding gold. i usualy gather around 5000g and 4000 dust, i open 50 packs when the new expansion hits and buy packs after until i hit the pity timer, then i start gathering gold again. This way i have enough cards to experiment at the beggining and enough dust to create the meta decks that emerge.
Now it seems i have the same problem as last year. I have a lot of cards for classes i don't play and i don't like. What i'm thinking of doing now is to again DE almost all class cards except priest and another class i like, since i have almost all priest cards. if i have a complete collection of priest cards i can just craft any priest deck.
With this strategy i could craft all cards from new expansions for 2 classes and any good neutral cards. In the end instead of having half a deck for all classes i would have all the decks for 2 classes. To balance the playstyle (priest plays similarly to warlock and mage) i think the second class wilk be hunter just to have some aggro options.
I know some of you don't want to limit themselfs to a few classes but what do you think? I feel i am spending by dust/gold on too many decks for too many classes when i could have any deck for 2 classes.
I play only warlock lol.. Have 0 cards for other classes :) also i olay wild only...dude when reno rotated i have said i will never play standard again
Sound like bad plan in the long run, by repeatedly disenchanting big parts of your collection you essentially reduce your collection's dust worth by factor of ~4 because HS disenchant rates are horrible.
I don't really understand this whole "craft all the card to build all possible decks" strategy, most of the cards in the game are barely playable and many of the good cards are common or rare, why would you want to destroy your collection and make 7 or 8 classes unplayable just to have few more (probably useless) epics and legendaries for your favorite class?
At the very least you should keep all the commons and rares for all the other classes, it makes no sense to exchange 80 commons or 20 rares for 1 epic.
I'm a F2P player myself and have a decent collectioncollection for both wild and standard. Honestly, you should play and maintain your collection for your playstyle and what gives you the most enjoyment, but if it were me I wouldn't limit myself or my collection. Cards that I dont play often in ranked mode still come up for tavern brawls, meme decks, and just overall enjoyment in allowing me options to experiment.
If you are trying to boost your gold/dust consider playing arena. I play arena at least once a week and usually have a 5.3 win average, with some weeks being 7+ wins (occasionally 12) with most weeks being 4 - 6, only less than that when I'm really unlucky. This helps to supliment my regular efforts. Anyways, you do you, but if it were me I wouldnt limit myself.

The thing is i really only play 2-3 classes. Any priest deck, mill druid/rogue, burgle rogue and elemental mage. that's all i play. i used to play a lot of hunter but that's about it. warrior, paladin, shaman, warlock i don't like and i don't play. And ypu'd be surprized how much dust you can make disenchantig rares and commons. Last year i got around 2-3000 dust just from them. All i'm sayimg is i don't see the point of having a bunch of cards for classes and decks (mill druid i like, hate the jade mecanic) i don't play. I'll keep class defining cards but stuff like Doomhammer, Moraabi, handbuff warrior cards, shaman spellstone etc. i don't play at all because the deck they form i don't enjoy/don't have enough cards.
I think I would choose Paladin over Hunter. The available deck types are more varied and the decks stronger imho. Im not sure I could do what your doing, it limits the game way to much to me. You will never really learn about the strengths of all the other classes and what to expect others to play because you would play that card. I have been playing a lot less time than you, but in the beginning I wouldnt play Warlock. It took forever to try it, and I did only because I got a lot of good cards for the class. I found I love playing control warlock, something I never thought would be the case. I understand not being able to afford a lot of resources. Im not f2p, but I am a budget player (usually only get the preorder) and did go f2p for Kobalds. I cant craft every deck, but I think a bigger variety is a good thing. I never know which class will get the best cards from my packs, and play the strongest decks I can based on the cards.
Variety is the spice of life, its even true in games it seems.

Bad plan in my opinion.. You will get bored of the game really quick.
And what about quests? F2p ?

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
