Fair enough. I find myself wondering if the cost is a problem. Is it still a bit too expensive for it, since although you are getting a 6/6 (+ a 1/1) for 5, you are losing a minion on board (and need one available). I am trying to determine which of these two cards is actualyl the better choice, basically.
That said, I wonder if this would be much help in a Frost Lich Jaina deck. Most of the ones I have seen recently appear to be fairly devoid of many elementals and there seems to be a bit more of a push towards the elemental mage packet from some of the recent KnC cards.
I can't decide either way on this card really. It seems quite situational and not much better than the racketeer, which obviously sees little to no play at all. I think I'm erring on the "nope" side... I would probably choose the Racketeer.
EDIT: On further reflection, the exception I might make would be in regards to playing this version ion Evolve shaman to make more use out of your 0/2 totems...?
Thanks for listing the thread on discussion that is just about that card. This thread is comparing it to another card and looking at whether it is better or worse.
Big-Time Racketeer is better 99% of the time, the exception being if you have a bad minion on your side you need to transform (like a treasure chest).
Playing Racketeer on an empty board is equal to Furbolg Mossbinder played on 1/1. One gives 7/7 stats for 6 mana, the other gives 6/6 stats for 5 mana. But as you mentioned, you can't play Furbolg Mossbinder to an empty board, and if you play it on anything with higher than 1/1 stats, you lower its value as compared to Big-Time Racketeer

Yeah, this is basically how I was feeling about it as well. The 1 mana drop "could" be really good, since it makes it a slightly better tempo deck. But the trade off is the requirement of a minion...
Oh wait! There is a BIG upside I hadn't considered. Think of Evolve Shaman! Now, you can make your more useless totems into a beefy elemental 6/6 AND (assuming the token is a 6/6 for 6-mana) you now have 2 6 mana cards with which yuo can evolve them. Ok, so it's not a huge "Wow Factor I admit, but it could be interesting. Lol

That's an appropriate use for the other thread as well. And a comparison that other people in it have already made.
But yeah. It seems like overall just a worse big time. A card that saw no play at all. So... An even worse version of an unplayed card? Maybe if there's a LOT of minions that are bad to have on your board come about this becomes possible. But I don't see that happening.
As an aside, does anyone else hate the forum software? I had a hell of a time even trying to post this the way it all works... Literally the worst forum I've ever posted on in this respect. It's so weird.

Possibly lag? I notice that sometimes the edit buttons, etc don't always show up - as does the typing box, etc.

Sadly the reply editor is bugged atm and the fix will not come sooner than next year.
What is happening is, when u edit your post (u have to actually change something) and then save it and then decide u want to edit it again, it bugs out and will not load. When this happens u have to press Cancel and then Edit again to make it load. It is annoying, but sadly its not a priority right now, since its "just" an annoyance and doesnt actually restrict u from using the function (ie editing your posts).
Honestly I'm excited for it b/c it is a neutral transform effect which is big. Blizz nerfed Tinkmaster Overspark (it could target enemies though) probably b/c they realised it's too powerful for every class to have 3 mana casino polymorph. That being said I like the furbolg better. Yes, it requires board but I think it has more potential than the racketeer. F.e. the furbolg fits very well in priest due to the fantastic synergy with potion of madness. Transorming a doomsayer, an acolyte or Thalnos seems very good, especially when your opponent has no other minions to trade them into. It's good against Marin's treasure. As you mentioned it makes perfect fit in mage as you get 6/6 lifesteal elemental and 1/1 body to ping right after. And the elemental tag could make the card very good in future. There might be some mechanics, buffs when you have elementals on board.
Depends, sometimes Furbolg is way better getting rid of harmful garbage, sometimes big-time is way more flexible not requiring you have a minion on the board

So I can see where they are trying to go with Furbolg Mossbinder.
Essentially it is a slightly cheaper Big-Time Racketeer.
