Hi guys, here are some tips for all of you that not only want constantly to be a better player, but also a better person. Hearthstone is not only about winning, is also about having fun and a nice experience, and there is nothing better than both players enjoying a lot each match. Helping your opponent, especially if he is not as a good player as you, is a noble cause and something you should be proud of. I know there are a lot of jerks playing this game, but also there are a lot of nice people.
Here are the tips, that while really nothing special, could help Hearthstone to become even a more friendly enviroment:
- Give some opponents more time to think about their moves: If your opponent plays a cancer deck, it's very probably because he doesn't find other way of winning and is not that great playing this game (although there are always exceptions, since I know some very good players that sometimes use this kind of decks, so please people, I'm not trying to insult anyone here). If that is the case, it is also true that he probably needs more time than usual to think about his moves (and while those decks are usually very straight forward, it's not always the case). So, what can you do to help him?. Well, roping him is the answer. I'm not talking about roping always, since that is obviously BM, but during those key turns where your opponent has to think a lot more than usual (for example, if he is using Secret Paladin and you a control deck, if he used Divine Favor in his previous turn, in late game, and now his hand is full of cards, he has to think more about his moves). Doing all your plays and then roping, is the perfect way to give him the time he really needs to think about their own turn before it even starts (so, he can play slowly during their turn without any preassure, while also using all his time). Some people reading this would not like it, but please, stop thinking about yourself, there are other ones that need our help, and would appreciate it a lot.
- Show your opponents all your hand (or most of it): Playing as much cards as you can before lethal, and usually going for max. damage, is a clear example of good sportsmanship. Why?. Because while doing so your opponent can realise generally if he was playing well around your cards or not. If you don't do it, that is actual BMing, because you are negating them the opportunity to became a better player, and that is a very bad thing.
- Help your opponent to realise his mistakes: There are some people that make missplays very frequently and never realise them, and that is terrible for them :( . So, how can you help them to realise them?. Easily, using the emotes. Each time your opponent makes some missplay, be sure to emote him, and if you feel it necessary, do it several times, so he can understand it. Sadly, this is the only way to do it, since there is no other form of comunication (if you aren't playing with a friend), but just think that while doing so, you are actually helping him a lot, so it is a very good thing. :)
- Help others to become better players in casual: Playing with a top tier deck in casual is the best thing you can do to help others to improve at this game without making them losing stars in ranked. There is always some people that need to improve at this game in a friendly way, so they can just play in casual and face players with top tier decks to teach them how things really work. :)
Well, that is all. I know it is not a lot, but if some of you can think also other ways to try to help your opponents, please, share them, I'm pretty sure many people would appreciate it.
Note: If someone really thinks this has something to do with BMing and feels offended by it, please, think before posting, no one said nothing about things like roping all the time, neiter about spamming emotes like crazy and without any sense. I'm just trying to help others that also want to help. That is all.

These two are generally seen as BM'ing because I don't want to spend my time watching my opponent dump double FoN/Savage roar on a board that has enough damage for lethal without it or get "Woops" every time my opponent sees a sub-optimal play from the perspective of knowing only my board. Solid troll thread if that's what you're going for though ;)
For everyone who doesn't wanna read through this whole thread, here's what it comes down to:
Hearthsstone isn't only about winning, it's also about fun, so make sure both players are having a good time.
Here are some tips to make you a better... person i guess?
Don't threaten/distract your opponent when they're thinking.
1. If you're opponent is playing a cancer deck like face hunter or agrro shama... o wait, bad example. you don't need to think while playing that. Like secret palli it's probally because he's not such a great player and he has to learn wich he can in casual and test diffrent decks. so people need more time to play their turn and when they have a full hand
2.BM, but you probally do it already so you should be fine. People will really like that :)
3. Make your opponent realise missplays.
A good tip, make sure to emote him when he makes a missplay. But he might think you're an asshole when you try to emote that though XD
4. Play toptier decks in casual, in casual you'll be facing players that probally play F2P and aren't that great at the game yet so you can easilly crush them withyour legendary's and make your opponent potentialy de-install hearthstone by deathwinning ragging or renoing him at the end.
I'm not trying to be an asshole here. This is just a joke. But i just think some of these "tips" might be taken differently by your opponent XD
during the 2nd mechazod brawl i kept emoting "opps" whenever my opponent/partner senselessly slammed their 1/1 or 1/2 minions into mechazod, that never stopped them from from doing it for the rest of the match though.
Troll thread is obvious, but hey, good job :P By the way, I am the definition of a nice player according to this thread. I always help players realize their mistakes via emotes, show them the cards I had (if they don't concede first), and I play top tier decks in casual to get daily quests done. No roping, though - wastes time for me, as well.
Well, if you do all those things with good intentions, without actual BMing and in a careful way while trying to not offend your opponents (although there is people that gets offended by everything, even if you don't do nothing, but that is not your fault), yeah, you are a nice player. Thanks for trying to make Hearthstone a better enviroment for everyone, keep up the good work man!.
In all seriousness, the only thing I ever do to help is rope my turn when I know the opponent has disconnected. I do spam "Greetings, traveler" until I get a response to know they're connected again, though. Does that counteract my generosity? :D
No, it doesn't, but wow, that is a very good example of good sportsmanship, well done man. I was disconnected recently during a game, but it was very late when I reconnected, I would have wished you were my opponent. While there are a lot of nice people playing this game, sometimes it's not enough... we definetly need more players like you. :)

Lol nice one m8
Oh wow I am already a better player then :O
I am even BM/Emoting, when my opponent makes the mistake to BM/Emote me and in the end still loses even though he had the upper hand Kappa
Just remember the good times!
10/10 guide.
After following these instructions, I have a whole bunch of new friend requests! :) Man it feels good to be a nice person!
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
Hilarious. 10/10
Lame.

I can just imagine that looking so derpy LMAO
I honestly can't tell whether you're trolling or not... Good job.
8/10
Was going to give it 6/10 but then I saw how many people are actually taking it seriously and realised it must have done a better job than I thought.
Well played.
The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.
What a salt mine. What do you care if someone isn't good at the game.
