I found this cool new mini-game that only happens against warlocks. Basically, the two major types of warlock decks are so polarized and give such little margin for error, that you have to guess which deck they are before you mulligan.
It's a 50-50 chance of being correct on your guess. You might have better odds if you use a tracker and check which deck type is most prevalent in your last 50 games, but it's still going to be about a coin-flip.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that this means you have a 50-50 chance of winning the REAL game though. You still need to mulligan and draw the right counters to survive Zoo even if you guessed correctly. Same goes for Handlock.
God fucking forbid you try to account for both deck types and keep a dead card or two in your opening hand. Both of these decks need a pretty full commit on the mulligan either way in order to survive.
That made me smile. I normally just mulligan for Zoo because I see them a bit more often at my level of play and they tend to crush you in the early game if you have no answer while Handlock takes longer to get going than Zoo.
If you see a post that you find objectionable, report it, it helps keep the forum clean. But be aware people are allowed a lot of latitude.
If you find my posts to be rude, objectionable, or whatever, well, I got tired of writing polite TL; DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) posts at crybaby whiners. So now I just make it short and nasty.
If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.

I'll normally mulligan for zoo because it's the faster deck. If my opponent is playing Handlock, at least I've got 3-4 turns to try and draw into a solution. Against zoo I won't have those 3-4 turns.

Hah, good one.
But yeah, keeping that Big Game Hunter in the opening hand has hurt me, as well as not keeping it.

Hahaha, very nice.
I usually mulligan against zoo as well since it's more common around rank 13 NA and they hit harder much faster.
Lel. Upvote that OP, folks.

You could keep track of player names. No guarantee that they won't switch but handlocks tend to look down on zoolocks.
I run a Hybrid Warlock Deck, because that's how I roll.

Great stuff, best post I've seen in ages, 10/10.
