With the upcoming Mind Control nerf, the lack of BIG drops in the current meta and the fact that it already pretty much takes up a turn, not sure it's worth putting in a constructed deck. In Arena, however, I'll take 3+ Mind Controls :D

We're going to have to disagree here because I think you should have at least one of each now, and with the MC nerf, only one MC.
You know, in constructed, given the state of the game, I really do feel that MC is overrated and unnecessary - however, in Arena, it's almost always a good idea to pick it up every time it drops :P

That is something we are going to have to disagree on. Even if it may be overrated, it is still a great card and there is no reason not to have any right now.
dont think i ever lost to a priest yet witht he current lock and rogue decks im running. This deck is no exception
Would you mind elaborating please? Like maybe list what kind of decks you are running and/or possibly what bracket you are currently in. That will allow me to see if I can make the deck better based on your feedback.
I dunno, the Azure Drakes feel out of place ever so slightly. I think you have enough draw power with Novice and being a priest in general. You should probably choose between the two to swap in Holy Fires - they're way too good to pass up with the popularity of aggression lately and would justify the use of Spell Damage on the Azures. Harvest Golems are always nice, but I don't think you have room for it, unless you would drop a SW:D because you have better removal with Holy Fire. I was never a fan of two of them unless Dark Iron Dwarves were present.

my oppinion is to add one sunfury protector,and to drop one acidic swamp ooze.
I REALLY enjoyed this deck pre nerf, but after the patch i'm stuck around rank 14. I'll get to around rank 12 sometimes, but drop back down eventually. Is anyone having more success with this deck? Or changing any cards around? Let me know!

This deck needs to be fixed and I'm still trying to determine what the best route is. Most likely I will have to put in sunfury protectors + holy fire to combat with all the aggro and mage decks running around. I also still need to put sylvanas in. I've tested it and i think SW : D is probably the best to switch out for sylvanas.
The biggest foe against this deck is warlock rush decks. With the mage nerf, they dont seem to be such a problem and I seem to have pally's under control, but I cant even think of what to sub out to deal with locks rushing so fast.

Yeah, those warlock rush decks are really hard to deal with. Especially with such a slow deck. You are much more susceptible to bad draws compared to the rush decks that barely have any end game. If I were to change this deck to specifically combat the lock rush deck that is going around, then I'd probably have to add something to kill those pesky blood imps earlier on and something to make the early game easier. I was thinking about adding wild pyromancers or something else to help kill them off.
Not sure why there is no mention of lightspawn here, its able to be played early with 4 mana, and in combo with divine spirit or any increased health cards make a great early "finisher", i've destroyed many decks with these style of combos
Easily mitigated with Siphon Soul that is in almost all warlock aggro decks

I agree, you need 1 Shadow Word: Death and that's really it...

im more fond of running just one shadow word death not sure u need 2 in this meta. other then that it looks like a standard deck to me.

I agree. I'm thinking about switching out one for sylvanas. I still need to do some testing, but I think that will work out.
I think something else would need to be replaced. Both of the drakes in this deck are really good.
Holy nova is already very competitive and should be used in decks w/ minions and/or spell damage

Currently, a lot of the time you won't need all your MCs+SW:Ds. I was thinking about switching out a SW:D for sylvanas.
