I'm trying to head for legend with a midrange version of a MC deck. The list i'm running is more or less the one linked here, though I'm now running 2 consacration and 1 Blood Knight to better manage the mirror.
The problem I face is that now that I touched rank 3, I'm starting to see a lot of mech mage. Consacration on its own is kind of useless, as most mech have 3 health (and certainly, by turn four you can even have the 5/4 goblin or Shredder on the table).
Any ideas on how to tech the mech mage match up without losing my grip on mirror and or sacrificing too much the initiative against face hunter or midrange hunter (both of them are doable match ups but require you to have some control of the table to prevent the life bleeding).
Your list is okay. Mech Mage's playstyle is the tempo and their board presence due to the fact that they can drop minions constantly with the help of Mechwarper. So the way you play against them is almost the same as vs. Hunters / Paladins, you contest for early game control. Mulligan your Jugglers / Minibots / Shredders / Truesilver / Coghammer and try to trade for board control. I also play Mech Mage and the deck is really bad when playing from behind - they rely on the momentum / tempo to win the game. For some reason I prefer Equality than Repentance because Equality is more reliable and is really good against decks with beefy minions. Also IMO -1 Creeper and +1 Belcher.
I saw equality sometimes but haven't tried it yet. Also belcher may help against hunters and patron (patron is not a terrible pairing, but probably the 3 damage may help more than 3 minions with 1 strengh (Creeper is a terrible lategame card against patron).

Mmm... interesting the thoughts.
