I'm stuck at rank 13 now with this deck and my new nemesis are plagues of deathrattle/feigndeath face-hunter decks. Anyone have tips on taking these down? Thanks.
I remember a game Amaz was casting that involved Mirror Entity on an Echoing Ooze. Amaz predicted that the Ooze would get copied with its green bubble, while the other caster wasn't sure, and then the Ooze did in fact get copied that way and replicated itself for both players. The rationale Amaz used was that battlecries/deathrattles happen before secrets. I think the outcome under strict "play order" rules would've been the opposite, because obviously the Secret was played before.
But I noticed yesterday that exact situation you described. I had out a Mad Scientist, a shielded minion, and a couple soldiers, then Hellfire was played. Mad Scientist was played before Soldiers, so when the Scientist fetched Avenge, the death of the tokens triggered it onto the remaining minion that had lost shield. In this case, it won me the game, but I was not thinking about it at the time so it's probably something I should pay more attention to in the future.
