Paladin had better get the same or similar treatment because their best and really only competitive deck is Anyfin which is rotating out. And according to tempostorm, that deck is tier 3, with handbuff being tier 4, and lastly Dragon Paladin at tier 5. So unless Paladin gets something similar to the shaman treatment at the very least, Paladin will be the very bottom class (and not just the 2nd to last) after rotation. So, please, Blizzard, don't let paladin be dead until summer...
They still have to pay for the Secret Pala Era you know. Maybe some improvement but i doubt it tier 1 like before
I don't think paladin should be punished for something that happened 2 years ago. Its like saying punish hunter for undertaker era. I'm not even saying tier 1. Just not total garbage like it has since every era of hearthstone EXCEPT secret pally. Sure midrange was alright in GvG but eventually fell greatly out of favor.
Paladin and Hunter with Secret and Face archetype respectively brought utter misery to the game, they deserve to be at the bottom of the barrel for years to come.
Lol, all these salty people about Face Hunter and Secret Pally. How about making midrange hunter viable and N'Zoth Paladin viable. Two archetypes that no one hates. It will be healthy for the game. N'Zoth Paladin needs some tools! Like, I don't know, a 5 mana 3/5 with taunt, death rattle summon a 1/2 protector with taunt. I don't know, just spitballing ;)
IMO, classes deserve to receive good treatment: Hunter, Paladin, Priest
Priest is Tier 1 in Standard atm and has one of the best decks if not the best, and in Wild there is no real meta report but it's probably tier 1 there as well, as Dragon or Reno with Dragons, N'Zoth or both.
Not sure why did you put it in bracket with 2 worst classes atm, it's almost broken class?
I take the rotation into the consideration. Do you realize which class loses the most after the rotation? it's Priest and all the Dragons.
Priest is the class that lacks of a variety of competitive decks, and it relies on specific archetype to be viable.
Unless they make good Deathrattle minions (not Dragons because they already mentioned not to push it anymore) or use the new 6-9 classes cards to make a whole new archetype, Priest will go back to the dumpster a few weeks from now.

Priest will see tough times with the rotation of BRM/LOE incoming. Available archetypes in wild will be fine but unless some really good Deathrattle cards are made Priest might have a tough year of the mammoth

I think a Hunter meta with OP cards is almost a guarantee with Un-Goro. Blizzard has pretty much said that favoring a class or two in each expansion is how they will do things from now on and Hunter has been bottom tier for the whole Kraken year.

Well, not the whole year (midrange hunter was either top tier or close to it for a little bit after WotOG) but I still see your point. I just hope its two classes with them being hunter and pally.
I don't and will never feel bad for Paladin, the class with THE single best comeback mechanism in the game (Equality, which isn't going anywhere). That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a non-Murloc themed Paladin deck in Standard (I play Reno/N'Zoth Paladin in Wild).
Well, it doesn't matter how bad you feel, the class is almost dead, and you can see it by just keeping track of when you saw a Paladin last time you laddered.
The worst part about current Paladin strategy, is that they gave the class the 'handbuff' technique, forcing us to play a nearly full minion deck, when the Paladin's minions are completely outclassed by any other class minions.
No class should ever get the shaman treatment. period!. First they need to reign in or up the power level of all classes so they are as equal as you can get them, and after thats done Team 5 should treat each class equally so the gap between "the best class in the game vs. the worst class in the game" at any point should be as close as possible. I have faith that team 5 has learned from there past mistakes and that it is actually possible to get a fairy balanced game. of course there will always be a top tier class and a bottom one, but as long as the gap between then isn't to big the game should in my opinion be a more fun game.
have faith guys! year of the mammoth will be the best one yet!

We still remember Secret Paladin and Face Hunter. The wounds are deep and salty. I don't think they'll get a special treatment anytime soon.
IMO, classes deserve to receive good treatment: Hunter, Paladin, Priest
Classes to receive average treatment: Mage, Warlock, Rogue
Classes that can survive without good treatment: Shaman, Warrior, Druid

The way Paladin is performing during the last year, I am expecting at least a tier 1 and a godly tier 2 deck to come up with the new set+rotation.
Right now the situation is horrible.

Forgive me, friend. I have failed.

Heh. I see nothing but fellow Dragon Priests, Jade Druids and Pirate Warriors. I haven't even seen a dreaded Shaman in quite some time.

I hope the midrange hunter comes back. Super fun, strong deck, and I'm only a few hundred wins away from that golden portrait
Renounce Darkness
Hunter should never get the Shaman treatment. Their hero power has to much potential to be toxic.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.
My golden pally has cobwebs bro
feels bad mam
