Pulled him from a pack. He doesn't seem bad but he seems heavy control oriented, and that deathrattle looks to me like your opponent gets a turn to bash your face in before you pull it off, unless you got Consecration.
Can I just slap him in any Pally deck I make and call it a day?
In Paladin... hard to say. To be sure, Lord Barov is a much better version of Equality. But Paladins are sometimes (not often, but sometimes) cutting Libram of Justice these days. It's really easy to imagine Paladin running him, though, even if he's not wicked common now. Maybe you want 3 copies of equality effects, or maybe you want an equality-type effect without the Libram package.
In Warrior, he's really good. They've got a lot more ways to kill him immediately for his deathrattle (a humble Sword and Board, for example), or use some other Whirlwind effect to clear the rest of the board and leave him up as a pest.
I wouldn't run him in Libram Paladin, doesn't fit the deck's play style. Libram of Justice is all you need usually. But and control-ish or late-game focused Warrior loves Lord Barov. You don't even care about his deathrattle there. Just play Risky Skipper into him and clear the opponent's board leaving behind a 3/1 with an annoying deathrattle

Animated Broomstick
Any good?
Top5 best cards of the set bro
It's equality on a stick. Equality used to be 2 mana and is now 4. Considering you play paladin, it's common sense that this card is insane....
However, it is definitely more powerful in warrior.

Better in Warrior than Paladin.
