A shame they removed the card from the expansion, looks like some pirate card (which we need more of IMO). I wonder what it was, I really hope they release what it actually was some time, I'm curious haha. The art looks funny, a pirate parrot riding a....what even is that? A shame to waste such nice art.
That's Captain Scaleblade. Poor guy never get to see the light of day.
How do you know its name? :o
It was leaked.
Was anything more leaked? And it was a legendary, right?
The name definitely suggests that, but nothing about it's effect. It had to be cut off from it's effect was deemed to strong by Blizzard in the last stages of TGT. The next heroes will be Maiev for Rogue and Tyrnade for Priest, that too was leaked.
I think it's the only card shown in a cinematic and not gone out as an actual card(or adventure boss card)
SO it's probably had an insane synergy with a GVG card or captain's parrot (naxx has no pirate synergy) probably something along the lines of "summon 3 1/1 pirates" which makes sense with the parrot charge guy but it's broken with Ship's Cannon.
It's cut-off because of the powerful interactions it had with GvG, which made me think that the effect had something to do with either Deathrattles, or the aggressive nature of the set in general. They said that it is still playable in Standard now, which hints to me that it isn't a card that interacts with Mechs. Perhaps, a Battlecry something that allowed minions to bypass Taunts for 1 turn?
Based on the mana cost and attack and health, the card seems to be captain sky Kragg but just a weird image. I don't think it makes much sense to have 2 pirates with 7 mana 4/6 stats. Maybe it was a different card but why would it have the same stats?

Also the original trailer @00:07 shows a Legendary Youthful Brewmaster and a legendary murloc.
