Very good point, with several comps like Kalecgos dragons there's so many slow animations to wait for that it feels like my worst opponent is the cliënt itself
Slightly disappointed for them to do this as mage's anniversary legendary. Haven't we had enough cards that essentially read "DO A LOT OF RANDOM STUFF"?
The worst case scenario seems to be casting arcane missiles 6 turns in a row and even that sounds pretty decent for 6 mana. I don't see any scenario where I'd ever dust this.
I'm happy quests are back but they didn't feel balanced so I'm happy with these changes. Wasn't fun to get beaten by a random Stable Amalgamation popping up on turn 6 or so.
With that quest you can use Fluidity to give the stats of your largest minion to another one in your hand.
Which you can also combine with Suspicious Stimulant, which bytheway stacks untill it gets nerfed. If you play 5 copies of those on a minion in the tavern, it gets x2 x2 x2 x2 x2, so essentially x32.
Seems unlikely but definitely not impossible to me. This year the World championship had just some thousands of people streaming with the casters sitting in front of a greenscreen and the players sitting in their bedroom. Not much left to cut.
Just straight up deleting a game that a good amount of people must have spent tens if not hundreds of dollars on even though you're a billion dollar company with plenty of resources to keep it running. This shit would have been un-imaginable 20 years ago.
I gotta say I'm not that excited about the spells so far... My biggest issue with Battlegrounds is 100 second turns with nothing to do besides playing a single card.
I'd like to see more economy cards like Fleet Admiral Tethys that actually allow you to do a bunch of stuff, rather than just spending 5 gold to give a minion devine shield.
Too bad the developers don't read these forums, if I were them I wouldn't want to miss out on another bunch of wild assumptions on how to successfully run a multi-million dollar game development company based on absolutely nothing.
With all respect but it often seems like people who only play standard are completely clueless on how many people play Battlegrounds and thus assume it doesn't deserve to get any updates. There are no numbers available but when looking at Twitch streamers it's often 90% Battlegrounds.

Oh... Well... In that case I'm going to use it to cast Puzzle box of Yogg and my argument still stands :)

I'd say 2 days max before the community finds some game breaking combinations that result in this getting a hotfix

I can't remember Jades getting much complaints during Mean Streets? I thought they were both pretty fun and fair.

I'm not so sure if this would trigger cards like Eyestalk and Pogo Hopper if they don't have 1 attack or health at the moment you play them?

There are 200-ish Battlegrounds cards and 5000-ish regular Hearthstone cards, I wouldn't expect that to make any noticable difference
