Hello everyone,
I am Lakwn a.k.a SpartanWar and my favourite class is warrior so i decided to create this deck to try it out.I reached legend last season and i am aiming to reach legend this season with this warrior deck. Its a aggro deck and its very good versus the current meta match-ups such as hunters and zoo.
I stream everyday so feel free to follow me and come over to see how the deck is rolling
It is based on weapons of course and it has nice combos with minions. for example all minions (except Captain Greenskin) have 3 or less attack so they can come with charge if there is a Warsong Commander on the board.
Sludge Belcher is nice vs hunter, zoo and miracle.
Mulligan: you are searching for the weapons of the deck and early strong minions like Faerie Drragon
the deck is tested on ladder and is very good but i am waiting your comments so we can develop it and make it even better
Dont forget to upvote :)
update: -1 gorehowl +1 heroic strike because gorehowl some times was a bit too much and heroic strike is needed to end games when opponent has big taunts in front of you :P
perhaps the reason you guys and girls are having trouble with the list is because its awful... sludge belcher does not belong in a deck that wants to have lethal turn 6/7
upgrade and most of the pirates (excluding Bloodsail Raider) are terrible. acolyte of pain does not belong in this deck. it's not what it w\nts to do. The deck i've been running has been providing excellent results.

no need for gimmicks and cards that aren't useful on their own. *cough cough pirates cough* Upgrade is a terrible card, never play it.
Played against 2 of these decks around rank 6 running my control warrior, they got absolutely slaughtered. Beware the current meta.
Since the last update, I've seen fewer aggro and zoo decks, and substantially more control and big minion decks. Against the new meta, I'm not sure this deck is competitive (have not won a single game yet). Against the taunts and big minions, there just isn't anything this deck can do because it focuses on using weapons. While fun to use, it means the player is taking more damage than usual and if the match is not ended fairly quickly, it's gg, almost every time.
Have you considered changes to the deck due to the new meta that the update brought?
/// edit ///
After a few more matches of testing, I'm convinced that this deck is not suitable at all for the current meta. The current meta. Slower, control, and/or larger minion decks is what has become more popular now, and as a result, it's rendered this deck's play style completely inadequate. IMHO, it is one of the least competitive decks possible in the current meta. Serious changes need to be made to it as a result.
Did OK in casual. Then on ranked I loss-streaked 6 games... 3 Paladin 2 Druid 1 Priest. Haven't yet to meet a Hunter or Zoo.
This deck is extremely dependent on draw luck and runs out of steam really fast. Against Control-oriented slow decks, you lose if you fail to rush him down fast enough. Against aggressive decks, you get out-rushed if you can't get those early plays in your hand.
Awesome deck! I really like Warrior but I lack so many cards required for Control so I haven't played him in a while.
Having tons of fun with the deck, lots of synergies and very effective in ladder.
One major change I did was to replace the 2 Faerie Dragon with 2 Knife Juggler, works very well in the deck and synergizes nicely with Frothing Berserker
This Deck is Insane... It won 12/13 games I've played so far. I only lost to a healadin because well he had all his heals in hand before i could finish him...
The changes I did (mainly because I didnt have some cards) were:
-1 Upgrade!
-1 Captain Greenskin
+1 Execute
+1 Leeroy Jenkins
I really like the 2x Ironbeak Owl because it lets you get around those desperation taunts they put out when you burst them, so I wouldn't take one of them off, not so much because you actually need 2 of them, but more because you want to have more chances of having them when you need them.
I went - 1x Upgrade! - 1x Ironbeak Owl - 1x Captain Greenskin + 1x Execute +1x Battle Rage + 1x Leeroy Jenkins. 2 Owls seemed like a bit of an overkill and I don't have Greenskin, Leeroy seems to fit the aggro style nicely. Didn't use Upgrade too much, Execute is mostly for big druid taunts or on the off chance of meeting a handlock. Further thinking about dropping an abusive sergeant in favour of a taskmaster for more consistent Acolyte proc... really nice deck, though.
Nice deck, Well done for the try and good luck for going legend!
Um, how do Abusive Sergeants and Warsong Commanders "trigger" Acolyte of Pain? All they do is pump its attack up or let it charge. Only time wargong is beneficial with acolyte is if there happen to be 1 or 2 power creatures on board (and i'd never drop a warsong if all i got out of it was enabling an acolyte of pain to charge). Normally you'd almost never want to use abusive sergeant or (esp) warsong just for an Acolyte, lol.
This deck has 1 trigger for Acolyte, and that is the Death's Bite deathrattle. You'd need to work a Taskmaster or two in here, imo.
Always the option of adding Commanding Shout to help clear out taunts and pick up a card without losing board presence.....too much. Also, Battle Rage could help with the card draw especially if you got a few creatures out and you blow up Death's Bite.....if you could fit those two cards in.....maybe in place of an upgrade or heroic strike........
i like this concept , because i dont own garosh card yet
i think it needs some more tweeks, tested it unrated on eu and went out 5/7 after 12 games, but i have no idea which cards to improve
having easy games vs druid and trouble with facehunters
is it wrong i'm using upgrade turn1 drop if possible?
Having trouble with taunt heavy decks... Other than that, I do really like this deck, well done. I played around with adding a charge in there aswell and it seemed to work well for me.
I find it interesting that you have TWO Ironbeak Owls; do you take them vs. Highmane? Also, Brawl is generally a catchup card, and in aggro, if you fall behind, you’ve generally lost already. I also feel like Arcanite Reaper might be too high of a mana cost, and with four other weapons, you probably don't need it; most aggro warriors will simply run Fiery and Bite. There might still be enough weapon synergy to justify taking this though. I would also throw in two Knife Jugglers instead of the Faerie Dragons because FD really isn't that great and Juggler is a staple in aggro. Additionally, I would consider a taskmaster or two for removal and synergy with the Acolyte and Frothing.
I think perhaps subbing a Black Knight in for an Ironbeak will help deal with heavy taunts, which are only going to be played later in the game anyways. You get a strong minion on the board and destroy the taunt. Sludge Belchers would have to be killed twice though.
What rank are you up to with this deck so far? Captain Greenskin is the only card I don't have and no way I'm gonna try to craft him!
I ran into this deck a few times on the ladder tonight. It's an interesting deck that's for sure, and a nice change from running into 500 control warriors. It can be pretty hard to shut down if you don't have the cards you need. I won half my games against this deck, which were close wins. I wish I could say the same about the two games that I lost.
I probably will, but I've been running into a lot of people with ooze and/or Harrison lately.
I've been running into control warrior and control priest with Harrison. I'm going to give it a shot since I'm not running into it that much like I did earlier in the season.
6 weapons look like overkill, or they might end up dead in your hand if you get unlucky draws, but pretty interesting overall.
I wonder how effective Acolytes can fill your hand up since it's pretty slow at card drawing without you proccing them with your cards. I like running weapons-based warriors too, but they usually fall behind if the opponent manages to drag into late game.
Seems interesting!
