Hey all

This is my first time posting a deck that I have made and I am posting it in the hope of being able to make it stronger through comments and suggestions.

I have always loved playing dragon decks and also deathrattle decks so decided to try to make one that has the potential to be used on the ladder. I have piloted this to rank 9 myself and I am definitely not a top player, so i am hoping with some guidance from you all that we might be able to make this deck usable with maybe even someone able to pilot it to legend ( I don't posses the skill/time and only play for fun really). I am always open to constructive feedback.

I will now run through my card choices below:

Key Cards:

Awaken the Makers - By playing 7 of your normal minions the cards gives you a 5 cost 8/8 that heals you up to 40 health. Yes it costs a slot on the mulligan but in a lot of cases you can give away the tempo early if the mulligan isn't kind and can recover / hold on enough to get this and swing the game back in your favor.

N'Zoth - Resummons upto 6 minions that have passed away during play, helping you complete the quest if you haven't already done so or just helping to get some kind of board control or fill your hand with cards via your enemy nuking the board if you have completed it already. Either way you don't really lose by playing this.

Deathrattles

Crystaline Oracle - I like this card, you can play it early and it gives you an opponents card, great against aggro IMO as if your curve is suffering through bad luck on the draw and you have no slow down mechanisms you may get something that you can use. The amount of time I have got a weapon against pirates is funny.

Mistress of Mixtures - Nice early card that can trade early and be used as a small heal at any point in the game, beware against priest matchups, you need this card to not be stolen via potion of madness if you need N'zoth to pop early.

Loot Hoarder- Early card draw, simple as that.

Shallow Grave Digger - Early trader that gives another deathrattle towards the quest.

Arfus - Many will question this, the amount of times i have got lifegrip against Exodia mage and pulled Archmage Antonidas or a Sorcerer's Apprentice making them insta quit is quite unreal and makes it an auto include by that alone.

Shifting Shade - Nice attack giving an opponents card whilst having deathrattle towards the quest.

Cairne Bloodhoof - Great value and sticks to the board well, even that is because of the deathrattle popping. Good way to get opponent to use removal/silence.

Obsidian Statue - Helps you to heal up if a bit low, kills a minion when it dies to and slows attacks to your face down at the same time as adding to the quest, great value in my opinion.

Dragons

Twilight Drake - A nice relatively early dragon that can be kept alive a long time and is useful late game to (you never really get below 5 cards after midgame so will always have decent health)

Drakonid Operative - Great body, stealing 2 of your opponents cards that in certain match ups can turn the game massively, i.e lagging behind against Exodia mage pulling Ice Block.

Bone Drake - Good value giving another dragon, most dragons in standard have good value.

Primorial Drake - Great taunt card and dragon synergy.

Taunts

Stonehill Defender - In the first instance always go for a taunt with deathrattle, I have gone for two as there is more chance of getting an early taunt then that protects your pretty face just a little bit longer.

The Lich King - Strong 8/8 that will probably only stay alive one turn, but if that 1 turn gives you Death Grip, like with Arfus, it can turn the game on its head if you pull one of your opponents key minions, this happens a lot more than you would think to.

Primordial Drake and Obsidian Statue are explained above.

Other Cards

Northshire Cleric - Early minion or late card draw

Netherspite Historian - Dragon synergy giving more dragons

Shadow Word Pain - Self Explanatory

Shadow Word Death - Self Explanatory, I have two of these as I find the bigger stuff harder to deal with.

Dragonfire Potion - Great removal, if your board is mainly populated by your own dragons they stay alive to, win/win

Skulking Geist - Purely for against the OP deck that I shall not name.

Shadowreaper Anduin - If your really struggling against a stacked druid board as your haven't been able to pop Skulking Geist and they have filled it with all their 1 cost 8/8+ minions and will pass into the ether next turn, pop this and taste the sweet druid tears, if only for a few seconds.

For those wondering why I have not gone with the RazzaKazza theme, I feel you get more tempo by being able to use more than one each of the strong dragons and taunts and that having more than one of some removal gives more chance of having it in hand when you really need it. The benefit of a Kazza card which doesnt always give great options and a free heal from Razza (only when you eventually draw it) doesn't seem to outweigh this, especially when against a priest match up (which to me is where you could most use it) you have a few possibilities to steal one of these cards.

If you decide to try this deck out I hope you enjoy it and I would love to know your thoughts on how it could possibly be improved.
