Here is my Necrolock deck, its a mid range control deck with Infinity Cruel Dinomancer if the RNG discard gods are on your side and N'Zoth, the Corruptor for the late game if that should fails.
It has great early game control with Mortal Coil, Soulfire, Volatile Elemental, Hellfire and Shadowflame relying on good trade's mid/late game with all the death-rattle minions, it has Siphon Soul for the one's you can't kill.
While the deck hasn't got many taunts it make up for this with a lot of early game removal spells which allows it to keep most aggro deck in check, mid to late game you can adapt your Ravenous Pterrordax or discover taunts with your Servant of Kalimos
Mistress of Mixtures is your healing, she combo's well with Spiritsinger Umbra and N'Zoth, the Corruptor, she also give's your Ravenous Pterrordax something else to eat for a instant health boost.
Spiritsinger Umbra works great in this deck, syncing with all your death-rattle cards, just don't expected her to live long as they will target her down fast, try to save her for when you can do a combo all in one turn or the turn after you play a Cruel Dinomancer where you know you can trade him in and have discarded a death-rattle minion.
Devilsaur Egg combo's with Ravenous Pterrordax making up for the slow turn when you played the egg, also syncing with Spiritsinger Umbra, Hellfire and N'Zoth, the Corruptor, if you play Ravenous Pterrordax and adapt death-rattle when you have Spiritsinger Umbra in play she will activate it.
Volatile Elemental works with Ravenous Pterrordax, Spiritsinger Umbra and Mortal Coil for a instant 3 damage nuke, great for the early game.
Due to most of your cards being death-rattle and of decent value, Cruel Dinomancer works in this deck as you will normally get good value from your summons, if you manage to discard a Cruel Dinomancer and haven't discarded any other minions, if you play your other Cruel Dinomancer you can get Infinity value as he just keeps re-summoning himself back again, if you want to see how this works go to the links below.

Discard guide
you want to try to control what and when you discard, ideally you want to discard one of your death-rattle cards as they will give you the best value if you summon them back with a Cruel Dinomancer or if you haven't discarded anything else a Cruel Dinomancer so you can get a Infinity number of them. you can also use it to cycle your deck a bit with Malchezaar's Imp.
Replacement cards guide
Abusive Sergeant - would have loved to get this guy in the deck but just didn't quite make the cut
Barnes - Good card for the deck but is a bit random as there are a lot of cards it wont do much for, fun to play around with thought and can win games.
Tar Creeper - good anti aggro card and a elemental.
Doomguard - great card but with 2 discards can be a bit punishing.
Spawn of N'Zoth - not bad but can be played around pretty easy.
Moat Lurker - a interesting card and has some good sync with this deck if a little slow, i would replace Siphon Soul and also include Youthful Brewmaster so you can use it as a removal as well and you can bonce N'Zoth, the Corruptor, hard to pull off and handicaps Cruel Dinomancer and N'Zoth, the Corruptor a bit as if you don't use the battle cry its pretty useless as a re-summon.
Tech cards - they will handicap the deck a bit messing up the sync but if you are facing a lot of one type of deck can be worth while.
Hungry Crab - if you are facing a lot of murloc's
Acidic Swamp Ooze - great against warrior's
Golakka Crawler - great against pirate's
Eater of Secrets - great against mage's
edit 1- i have removed Lord Jaraxxus from this deck list, i find him a bit to slow for this deck and i end up discarding him half the time, i find i can sustain healing with Mistress of Mixtures as you can activate her death-rattle multiple times in a game normally, i added in Spawn of N'Zoth as a replacement for more early to mid game sync.
edit 2 - i have replaced Doomguard and added in Soulfire i find it better against aggro decks and is much less punishing with only one discard, i have also removed Infested Tauren i have been finding him a bit weak and with more removal taunt is not as important replacing him with Blastcrystal Potion as the game will normally last till late it make a good removal.
edit 3 - due to the deck having a lot of elemental's i have removed Siphon Soul, Bloodmage Thalnos and Spawn of N'Zoth added in Igneous Elemental, Servant of Kalimos and Blazecaller for late game punch.
edit 4 - added in 2 Shadowflame for more AOE removal improving its performance against aggro and removed 2 Tar Creeper which was a good card but i find i can get more taunts from Servant of Kalimos for the late game and all the aoe removal takes care of the early game thought it makes it weaker to weapons, also swap out a Blazecaller for anther Malchezaar's Imp and replaced 2 Blastcrystal Potion for 2 Siphon Soul mainly for the healing.

i would swap out Spawn of N'Zoth , Barnes can work well in this deck but i find him a bit to random
I like to flow of the deck so far, I threw in Barnes for kicks and got Spiritsinger Umbra on first run, game over lol. Thx for write up.
Who did you drop for it?
Honestly, I don't remember, i was just testing the deck at the time. I think u have a few options for Barnes if u wanted him in there.
she is very strong in this deck, you may be able to trade her out for a Spawn of N'Zoth and see how you go.
How necessary is Spiritsinger Umbra for the deck. Can it work without her, or is the value you get from her too important?
From the looks of it, shes's the center piece to this deck until you get to N'Zoth.
