This deck was made specifically to defeat Heigan the Unclean Heroic. As a cheaper and more consistent alternative to the suggested Miracle Rogue.
It centers around board control through the use of spells Soulfire, Drain Life, Sacrificial Pact & Siphon Soul.
NOTE: This deck is slow-paced but very solid. Expect to go past turn 10 and don't worry about taking damage early as this deck provides a LOT of healing. Allow him time to use his Demonfire to buff before using your clearing spells!
To counter his passive you should get a Stoneskin Gargoyle to the left most spot. But preferably after you've buffed a Gurubashi Berserker using Heigans Hero power.
Other minion cards are purely fillers, ones that either won't be 1hit by the passive Sen'jin Shieldmasta and cards that will benefit from it Nerubian Egg & Haunted Creeper. Once you have the Stoneskin Gargoyle down, you should aim at dropping the Sunwalkers which he will attack and clear his board, finish the rest off with spells while hitting him directly with everything else.
I threw a mind control tech in there which will help if the board is getting too full and is a great help to swing it back in your favor.
Mulligan: Soulfire, Sacrificial Pact, Nerubian Egg, Stoneskin Gargoyle. Don't just throw them out though, the Stoneskin Gargoyle you should mulligan for but save it until he has used his clearing spells (Shadow Bolt ect.) on other minions. As it stops a lot of pressure from his passive.
Edit: After feedback I changed the Twilight Drake for Sen'jin Shieldmasta
Thank you all for your feedback and input. I'm glad my deck helped you defeat Heigan (Or helped you build a deck that did) and thank you for the support! I'll no longer be responding to comments, but hope this continues to help others that get stuck. <3
Here's a couple of videos of other users using this deck.
Thanks to MattSparks!
Took me a few tries to get the draw and play right (your tip about letting him kill the other minions before bringing out the gargoyle is a good one, btw), but it worked well. Thanks for a great deck and video example!
You should probably not make your posted video private on a public forum.
Second time worked for me, awesome!! Thanks <3
Took about 20 tries but it worked eventually
I've tried this deck around 25 times and haven't even gotten past turn 4 without dying. I have no idea how people are beating this boss with this deck. I have yet to get a draw anything like what I saw in those 2 YouTube videos.
I followed your exact deck construction, and read some of your comments. Mattsparks video helped alot as well. 2nd attempt win! Great deck!
Wow, 1st try... Thank you!
Took about 5 tries to get a hand that worked. You really have to get a good starting hand and the first 5 draws have to be there. If you drawn into cards that are not needed in the beginning the game quickly gets away.
Thanks! Was beating my head against this boss for a long time, but beat him first try with your deck.
I had some hesitations using this deck, and therefore modified it with some cards. It really worked well at my first attempt. It was very interesting to see what you've written was true; getting early damage led to the victory. :)
First try...speechless if I could there would be way more + :)I had to fill some cards, but it worked great with them too:
I didn't collect 1 Soul Siphon, Mind Control Tech, 1 Frost Elemental and 1 Sunwalker yet, so I replaced them with:
Maexxna, Ragnaros the Firelord (he made an aweseome job!), 2x Sludge Belcher
The Sludge Belchers came just in time to save Ragnaros, I kept Heigan's board quite empty and just waited til he got no more cards left.
Worked, tnx. Given you +1 :D :D
But I had only one Siphon Soul and I didn't have Mind Control Tech, so I added 2 Argent Squires :D :D
I don't have siphon soul and traded it for 2 argent squires, won on my first try, thank you for the deck
I'm glad you finally beat him with your deck but in order to do so the cards have to fall exactly right and be played right... i have tried your deck and lost 9 in a row... so i have to ask... how many times did you use this deck before you won?
Thank you so much for this build. I beat him on my first try. I've been playing the game since the beta, so I'm not new, but I've had so much trouble and bad RNG even with freeze mage, miracle, priest etc, but this deck just murdered him.
Thank you. i didnt use a warlock to take down the guy with but instead i used the style that you open up my eyes that i gotta be using minions with deathrattle and and stone skin Gargoyles to take the blow so thank you.
Went down first try. Thanks!
Won this 1st time I try. Nice deck.
beat it 2nd try thank you so much
Put Sylvanas in place of the mind control tech and worked beautifully. Stole his Dread Infernal and went to town on him. Good list man thanks for sharing.
