Best Water Rouge list you can find!

Guide:

Mulligan: always go for the 1 drops (unincluding Patches ofcourse).

Don't keep murlocs in hand, always keep Edwin and Shaku.

Try to gain a lot of Value for Shaku and Edwin. Finja is really OP. If you can get all murlocs summoned in turn 6 (I do it A-LOT) it's almost as an instant win.

I suppose you can keep Defender Of Argus against warriors (to counter Arcanite Reapers)

Match-ups:

You are weak vs Warrior and Priest.

Against Priest you still have good odds of winning, try to go for board control instead of face damage. Beware the Dragonfire Potions, they are his biggest threat, if he kills your Finja with it when he is stealth he kind of wins the game on-spot. In this matchup Finja is your best win condition... Shaku will die quickly and Edwin will just die to Power Word Death. try to get Edwin and Shaku to 4 attack to counter the power words (Shadow Sensi).

Against Warrior you are heavily countered... try to get control of the board as quickly as possible. Trading is very important here.

Against Reno decks you have to kill them quickly, before they can play the Reno. Even after they get Reno you can still win pretty easily, but ALWAYS kill the Reno so they will not return him to hand/deck. You should probably kill Kazakus to.

You crush the Jade Druid/Shamans... Just go full aggro on them. But beware the Shaman's midrange powerspike, if you let them get to the 6/6 and 7/7 jade golems they will just Jade Chieftain into huge taunts and you will lose... Play around Lightning Storms, Maelstorm Portals and Swipes, remember Druids have Feral Rage, and Shamans have Jinyu Waterspeaker for face heal (armor is counter :) ). Against Shamans prepare mentally for the Hex on your Edwin.

Mages: Funny... just kill them it is to easy. I have 100% winrate against them. Just do yourself a favor and play around Ice Block and Flamestrike. kill Reno after they summon him. And notice that there are also midrange Secret mages and not only Reno.

Hunters: It is a really weird matchup. IDK why but they keep winning me :( they have a lot of earlygame pressure, they are like pirate warriors just even harder to beat. The good thing is there are almost no hunters on ladder because they are in a losing match-up against almost every other deck, un-including us of course :D

Trading: This deck is no SMOrc  you should still trade and go for board control. Your Silent Knights are great for trading and getting a lot of value.

Going SMOrc is still the wiser play sometimes, it depends on your opponent's ability to place taunts and minions on the board, and on his HP and your hand. (you can do it against Jade's and Reno's with no problem. Against an aggro player that just goes ONLY face (i have faced [xD] a couple of those) you should be able to trade for the board control so easily that after that you can go SMOrc immediately. But it is not the good play in 99% percent of the time.

Against Priests and Aggro you're going to want to get full board control ALWAYS. that's your only chance of winning the game- use Defender Of Argus against Arcanite Reapers. Against Priest use Finja as your win condition if you have him.-- BUT BEWARE THE DRAGONFIRE POTIONS!

Reno Priest is not a losing matchup though. I have no idea about Djinni Priests, but i guess it's kind of even. Depends on how early do they get the combo.

Card Replacements:

Shaku: Jungle Panther (but no nearly as good).

Edwin: Dark Iron Skulker/Questing Adventurer (Iron is better).

Murlocs: no replacements!

Patches: Defias Ringleader/Deadly Posion.

Leeroy: Reckless Rocketeer.

Year Of The Mammoth

with the year of the mammoth, this deck's end came. This deck is literally unplayable...

It might come back into meta In the next expansion.

For whomever crafted cards for this deck- the cards are still useful, even Finja can be used in the murloc shaman deck (and it's great) and in wild Anyfin Paladins.

I will try making a list of this deck for the current meta, I'm checking card replacements at the moment, but no stealth minion seems good enough, and this can't do anything against neither quest rouge, mage, hunter or warlock (FT quests are OP...)
