Greetings Traveler - and welcome to my ''math'' Hunter guide,
We all know that Hunter is one of the weakest (if not the weakest) classes in MSG, so I wanted to try and come up with a Hunter deck that could do some sort of broken stuff (let's just be honest, there doesn't exist a good constructed deck that doesn't do something broken)
After a bit of thinking i came up with the idea of playing Tundra Rhino and Scavenging Hyena with some small beasts in one turn in order to deal enough damage to kill my opponent.
I figured that Emperor Thaurisan would help me play more beasts in the same turn as the Rhino, and would therefore allow me to Otk my opponents.
After playing a bit with the deck i quickly found out that whenever i drew Emperor and had a Rhino and a Hyena in my hand i pretty much just won, so I added a lot of card draw to the deck to get the combo more consistently.

EDIT: This deck is no longer playable in Standard because of the loss of Emperor Thaurissan. - Therefore I have made a Wild version of the deck for those of you that still want to play/try the deck! Tips:
1. Think during your opponents turn: When you have played Emperor Thaurisan and you're about to do the combo you won't have the time to calculate damage on your own turn because of the animation-time, so you have to do it during your opponents turn.
2. Don't be afraid to use combo-pieces against aggressive decks: Against aggressive decks you shouldn't be afraid to play your Hyena's with a Unleash or to play your Rhino with some small beasts to clear up their board, your main win-condition is to remove his board and then kill him or to just run him out of resources.
3. Trading during combo: While doing your combo you can gain a lot of bonus damage from attacking into your opponents minions instead of attacking their face with your small beasts because of Scavenging Hyena.
This is also why i chose to call the deck for ''math'' Hunter - you often need to calculate how you get the most damage out of your minions, sometimes it's correct to play Timber Wolf after having traded all your other beast, just so you will have minions to trade into. :)
4. Use Tracking whenever you have a mana leftover: You should usually just try to use the card as a draw mechanism that can get you closer to your Emperor and other good stuff.
5. Dire Wolf: Remember that you have Dire Wolf Alpha in your deck so how you place your minions can be VERY relevant.

''Tech'' Cards:
Hunters Mark: Tired of losing to Mr. 4-mana 7/7? Well this might be the card for you then - works well with Unleash the Hounds.
Flare: Seeing a lot of Reno Mage? Do they always have Ice Block? Well then.. :P
Deadly Shot: Good card against Big minions.
Doomsayer: Now you can kill your opponents turn 1 coin Totem Golem - Yay!
Coldlight Oracle: While this card is very bad against Aggressive decks it's incredible against Control - It also has Curator synergy.

Let me know what you think about the deck and if I should try changing something - and if you enjoyed it please leave a thumbs up! :)
Having the Quest Hunter Mastery, I thought I'd give this a try in the casual room for a litle fun....More like Get pissed the **** off that this NEVER worked.
This is in the CASUAL where it shouldn't be serious at all. Not a single game lasted over Turn 7 before DEATH. Nice concept, completely unplayable with HyperAggro Meta
You might be doing something wrong, or you might just have been unlucky... :P
I can usually survive long enough to get the combo as long as it's not against Face Warrior or Face Shaman... (I never claimed that it was a strong deck or anything like that though, it's mostly for fun and can't really compete with the super aggressive decks) :)
Upvoted for creativity. Make hunter great again
Thanks.
an upvote for a rather original deck in a meta flooded with rather boring decks (for me).
Thank you. :)
Anton, thanks a lot for such an interesting deck! I'm a bit new in Hearthstone and I'm buying adventures right now (for gold ofc). Feeling like adding some costly adventure cards but can't choose properly. It would be very kind of you if you add some reasonable replacements. :) For example, what shall I remove for Finley? Or maybe for Call of the Wild?
Personally man, I would just bite the bullet and buy the adventure. The cards are a blast, and the boss encounters are a fun treat. Much cheaper than saving the dust for the cards. But that's just my opinion.
If you want to use Finley i would either take out an Acolyte of Pain or an Dire Wolf Alpha.
I'm actually buying all the adventures right now, please read my post again more attentively :) I have definitely understood that adventures are necessary for playing this game, so I have bought Karazhan and buying Explorers and Blackrock.
Thank you for your fast reply! One more question, sir, is it possible to add you to the friend list in Hearthstone so I would be able to watch some of your games and get free experience? :)
My battle tag is: AntonAmby #2773 (and I'm on EU)
this deck is simply awesome
Thank you! :)
thanks nice deck
One to kill decks are the most boring decks in the game. Only for cowards.
OTK decks are for cowards but Reno and smorc decks are for heros?
Interesting perspective...
At least this deck tries to make a workable deck from the worst ladder class in the game.
What have you done for the game lately? Found the most popular deck on ladder and played that without any original thought?
If you have an original thought post a deck instead of criticizing those trying to make the running instead of following.
I hope that you'll enjoy it! :)
(Otk decks are also some of my favorites)
since this is a combo oriented deck, have you considered Alexstrasza? good both for combo improvement (you need less cards for lethal), or some more self survival (she can often buy you one more turn). she can even partially counter reno.
