Just dropped 800 dust for the call of the wild, this better be worth it. I also don't understand the point of the camels when there are only three 1-drops

No, it isn't, that's why Thijs brought it to the Spring Championships.

I've seen so much of this on ladder lately, and I just laugh and laugh because that's not what it's for, and it's super easy to beat if you're not using a tournament deck.

Replacing the camel would make it a drastically different deck. This list, as it is, is not good for ladder.

(And no, zoo is not the only reason camel is bad in the current meta. Please read other comments to find out why!)

Desert Camel is a suicide card in the current meta, do you want Tunnel Troggs, Fiery Bats or Flame imps played for free by your opponent? 

I agree, I find that Desert Camel is a determent to the deck. Normal Midrange Hunter seems to be much more consistent on ladder.

Indeed, it was designed for a tournament full of freeze mage, nzoth paladin and tempo warriors; and if Thijs plays it there's surely a reason.

In a tournament it's good tho. He just tries to play this deck vs control decks. 

It's just so fun when I see my opponent just copy+pasted a deck like this which is obviously designed for tournaments.

This deck is for tournaments not ladder.  You ban Shaman with Thijs's lineup and you try to avoid having your Hunter go against the opposing Zoo.  Against Control decks Desert Camel is amazing.

Agree with you AND if you draw injured you have a 1 srop with 2/1 gratz :D

I think Loan's version is more consistent and better for ladder.

Hunter has no great early minions so you will want to use bow to kill the opponent minions so that the board does not get out of control before you can play your big threads.

Opponents have Tunnel Trogg, , Argent Squire, Voidwalker, Possesed Vilager, Mana Wrim, Nortshire Cleric etc .

All of them can kill your fiery bat and even survive one more turn . But you can kill 2 x  up to 3 health Minions  with your bow .

Bow costs 3 mana
