Here's a cool new deck I created to reach Legend from Rank 3. Enjoy! :) Will post stats if anyone wants.
Sidenote: If you're facing against a lot of shamans who seemed to always be getting their doomhammers - replace an unercity valiant/ huge toad with an ooze ( or two oozes if you're sick of fighting against weapon decks ;) )

STATS from last season to whoever wants proof that I hit legend. I admit that this isn't a polished deck at all, but it worked for me and it was something different.
As for the whole finley thing and this whole anti-synergy thing, I USE IT FOR IT'S FLEXIBILITY. If you don't need to play it to win, then don't. Ex. If you have a squidface, then don't play finley! I don't play it at all on turn one and most often use it to hero power twice so that I'll have a weapon still equipped. Finley is just so useful in terms of surviving or even winning the game. Ex. warlock hero power vs control ~ OP OP.
As for N'zoth reviving useless 4/4s, honestly, it doesn't matter, because most of the time - you win if you get N'zoth ~ or if you want, then save a weapon, right? ;)

this deck seems compelling to me. Could you please write up a more detailed guide on how to play it and/or upload some gameplayvideos on high ranked play? That'd be great for understanding how to play the deck better.
Hi there Schmuvness! I don't really have much time to make a detailed guide, but I'll help you in terms of mulliganing. Always keep backstab as it could potentially activate combos. I also like to keep journey from below if I don't have the coin, but do not use it turn 1! Use it as a means to activate your combos. Don't keep Si:7 agent if you don't have coin OR backstab. Do not keep finley in your opening hand ~ only use it if necessary and if you know you can have a weapon possibly equipped throughout the game. Don't be stingy vs aggro and vs control ~ try to play around board clears aka brawl, lightning storm vs your small minions. Oh, and try having a weapon before playing squidface, unless you're sure that the opponent can't clear it the following turn. And, I think you just have to play more of this deck to get the hang of it. Honestly, I would say that rogue is one of my weakest class, but with practice, I was able to get legend with it! :) Oh, one last thing. Remember, you have an argus. So, try to remember about placement when you play something (normally, you'd want to keep minions with the same stats/health together. Or you can also buff them out of aoe) ~ hope this helps.

this deck is horrible. With a couple tweaks it is okay. Take finley out for instance and add more draw, I had a 65% win rate once I had tweaked it.
I also had a 60+% winrate too (stats and matches now posted above), but to each his own right?
deck looks terrible. Just because someone claims to of hit legend with it - doesnt mean they are telling the truth. He has no proof that it happened. The anti synegy of squidface and finley is hilarious. A truly shit deck
well sorry to disappoint you, but I did actually made it to legend with this deck (I posted my stats above). And it's something new and fun tbh. As for the finley thing, uhm all I can say is that don't play this deck like an aggro deck and learn to use cards when needed ~ aka to win. Read about my reply to glohooom for more details.
2 southsea squidfaces and sir finley with n'zoth so that you can bring back 2 useless 4/4s after you change your hero power. Clear anti synergy in this deck indicating a lack of deck building knowledge. Furthermore there are more problems with this page. No proof of legend despite the claim that this climbs from 3 to legend, in the comments they mention how the poster is not a pro player and does not own Xaril or know that he is a great tempo play for rogues. This account was created 2 days ago so even more likely fake. There is not enough draw in this deck to justify such a low curve. So all in all this Deck is utter garbage and the poster lies.
Man, I do agree that it is so easy to call someone fake, but sadly for you, it's not fake at all. I just recently added the stats if you want to check it out. I'll have to admit that it's not a 100% winrate deck and that there are some anti-synergies in this deck if it is piloted like a mindless aggro deck. I created this deck to break away from the "standard" decks on ladder and surprisingly, it had a 60+% winrate. So yeah, ask first before accusing something of being trash. In terms of deck building, what may seem GREAT ON PAPER, may not turn out so well in practice and vice versa. And, judging from your post, it seemed to me that you haven't even gave this deck a try, so yeah. Good job detective! :)
deleted the deck after getting destroyed 8 times in a row on ladder. not sure how you got from 3 to legend last season with the current meta.
you know, that you have to play the deck like 40-50 times at least to make a proper opinion about it? or wtf do you expect after 8 games? getting to legend?
I honestly don't know too. It just works for me and sorry to hear that it didn't work too well for you. :( And, it could also be that it takes some time before getting used to this deck, since you have to learn WHEN to play certain cards or NOT, since you want to be able to combo them efficiently. And I totally agree with your statement redworm! :)
I have a xaril, do you think it will fit into the deck?
I actually don't have the card in my collection, but in my opinion, it's more of a "value" card rather than tempo. This deck also doesn't run an auctioneer; thus, xaril isn't able to shine as much. However, I'm not a pro player, so you can most definitely try it ! Let me know how it goes. :)
Hmmm that's a tough one because skulker is REALLY useful vs zoo and shamans ( especially since totems have, at most, 2 health). I would say the closest replacement that I could think of that has a similar effect is fan on knives. If ever you do choose this option, I would recommend replacing 1 journey below for bloodmage thalnos (if you have it). Let me know how it works :)
The problem with abomination is that it damages your minions as well which could be detrimental in some match ups and it's also hex-able/silence-able. But you can definitely try it out if you want :)
what hero power is finley for?
I use finley more so due to it's flexibility. For instance, this decklist doesn't possess any sort of healing and so you can get the warrior/priest hero power to stall out the game longer ~ vs face/aggro decks (priest is better by the way since you can control to board and heal your minions). Additionally, i like to use it as a tempo play to activate my combos and control the board. It could also be used to push in that last few bits of damage using the hunter's hero power. Warlock vs control to get more draws to keep on pressure them :)
