This is the deck Chakki used during Dreamhack Austin 2016.
Most of the time people lose with this deck is solely because of the mulligan. If you are playing against the aggressive match-ups, you look for cards that will prolong the game to run them out of steam, like doomsayer, truesilver, forbidden healing, aldor, humility, acolyte and etc. This also applies to mid-range match-ups.
TIPS: Don't drop down Pyromancer just because you can play it because it is essential for full board clears with equality. Only play cards without value if you need to for board or tempo.
The control match-up, you are playing the value game and using your cards to counteract their win conditions, while pressuring enough to force your opponent's reactive cards to be used on mediocre boards than your own win condition (N'zoth). Against slow match-ups, the mulligan doesn't necessary matter too much since you are probably going to hero power each turn, but I like truesilver champion, acolyte of pain (to draw into more reactive cards), aldor, and doomsayer.
Sometimes against control match-ups you need to consider fatigue since it is a win or lose factor. What I like to do is to only draw when your opponent does, but of course if you are pressured to a point you need to draw, then definitely draw for answers.
Lastly, playing control decks, you are allowed to be greedy depending on how much health you have and healing in hand (forbidden healing and lightlord). This allows you to play more conservative and use equality and consecrate (or pyromancer) on a bigger board rather than using it right away on board with 3 minions just because you feel somewhat pressured. Easiest way to see this is with Control Warrior having 60 health and your opponent only has 3 minions on board. Just because you have so much health and you want to have a good brawl, you are allowed to be greedy because of the massive health and wait for a better brawl.
This is a brief guide, but this is the sort of mindset I have when playing with any control deck in general, so this also applies to control warrior. Hope this helped a bit and always adapt to various of scenarios. :)
I also have a brief video that I posted earlier for gameplay
Thanks a lot HermiesL :)
VERY INTENSE GAMES :forsenGASM: SO FUN!!!
Wouldn't Keeper of Uldaman be better than Humility ? You already have 2 Aldor Peacekeeper and Eadric the Pure which as the same effect, plus it could be played on one of your silverhand to be more aggressive if needed and finally it puts a board presence.
Replacements for Solemn Vigil, Justicar Trueheart and Edric The Pure?
this deck is rediculously expensive. 2 bad I'm not chakki. 15,000+ dust and that's without any goldens.

Hey guys, I made a detailed video for Chakki's Control Paladin with a detailed deck tech, the cards, and also certain substitutions. I believe this deck is one of the strongest control deck atm and is really well built.
One substitution I forgot to mention is for Eadric the pure, and I would probably sub in a sunwalker or the corrupted fen creeper, since eadric the pure is there to prolong the game, so running another taunt is somewhat the same.
The video is long so I have annotations to skip through the deck tech (cards, pros/cons, and subs) and also the games. Happy grinding :)
Thx for sharing your video. Well played and a very well topdecked Eadric!
Haha thanks, I don't know if I would've won the game without it ;)
I'm honestly not sure why Justicar is in this deck. Is there any particular use of being able to summon 2 silverhand recruits? Not like they have synergy with any of the cards...
Because she's legendary.
Shredder
A lot of the other really heavy control decks have a tough time dealing with you being able to get 2 dudes out per turn in the late game. It's definitely not for the aggro matchups.
It is very good in the priest matchup, he just cant do anything. If you're afraid of his entomb or power word death, just use hero power instead your tyrion and gg.
Justicar's a witch to deal with, if you're a Control Priest or Control Warrior. You have only a few cards that can clear the whole board, 2 or 4 healing per turn, and your opponent has the ability to flood the board in 2-3 turns with only 4-6 mana? It's a bit scary to deal with, because you know that, if you run the game to fatigue how you want to, you're going to be the one inevitably smothered under a Paladin recruit army. Especially in this deck, which doesn't have many minions to threaten the board with, that ability is pretty great!
So, that's your explanation :) Of course, she's replaceable by other minions, but Justicar herself is quite the threat against Control.

Any replacement for eadric?I don't want craft it.
I think you can replace it with keeper of uldaman
Definitely a tournament deck and quite unfit for laddering especially in the lower (pre 5 ranks) where people tend to aggro-out a lot. The presence of Justicar and the absence of Lay on Hands states this exactly. So, if you want a deck to battle through lower ranks up to 5, this is not a good choice. That's a solid list when you have made it to the high ranks where people tend to like their control lists more.
Chakki didnot play aggro? What happened lol
