40+ tries and no luck.. 

As a new player I reaslly see no chance of beating ANY of theese heroic  challenges, either the cards needed is no longer available, or they changes the way the encounter is working, because nothing is really working..

I've spend the last 3 days focused on beating heroic encounterc in both One night in Karazhan, League of explorers and Blackrock mountain, but its just not doable for me..

Waste of time and money..

I'm quite late, but I've tried it 3 times now. I've had a first turn minion for 2 of the games, but he didn't use Rockbiter Weapon at all. I lost every time. I don't understand.

Strategy might need to change since they changed rockbiter to 2 mana heh 

Not only that but the wishes give you access to a lot other cards that didn't exist when the adventure was created.

worked great for me first try with some minor changes.  I know this is for F2P but, here's the changes I made for those of you who have gathered extra cards.

Elven Archer - Abusive Sergeant

Frost Nova - Flamewaker and Murloc Warleader

one Flamestrike - Blizzard

Stonetusk Boar - Mana Wyrm

Frostwolf Grunt - Bilefin Tidehunter

First try win with exact same deck. You have to be careful and witty with discoveries, imho that's all it takes.

Deck might be good, but the hole fight is based on luck (which cards you draw and wishes you get). I use this deck for 3 hours and still can't kill this ******* **** ******** ********* *********** **** ******** ************* *** ****** Zinaar ;-;

To be fair, it's all luck because we're trying to win completely F2P heh

Technically nearly ever card in the game can bet gotten F2P.

Nvm, I won with borderline insane luck/decision making during the end-game.

Yeah, it's a tough fight.  I try to make the guide as thorough as possible since this is the only guide that's 100% no dust.

I have no idea what I did, but it worked. I wasn't expecting to win, but I got a streak of "frost novas" from the wishes and just filled by board with minions. Got him from my 4hp and his armor and hp full to smithereens. Thanks for taking the time to make the guide, it helped.

Well done. Made some very small changes (I swapped one goldshire footman with an kobol geomancer in order to rise the value of arcane explosin/arcane missiles). First try lead to succes already. I had some good wishes though.
