Hey guys I 'm Likeaßawse, a greek streamer and (multiple) legendary player. I just hit legend with this deck and i want to share the deck list and a guide to play it.
Legend Proof:
The average winrate of the deck is 75.5%, and i played it since rank 6. Proof and matchups:
The MVP of this deck is Eadric the Pure With this deck is all about board control and the power of Paladin in the current meta. Feel free to ask questions or give suggestions.
Why Eadric ?
Eadric is the man. There are many times when i played that i had 2 Aldor Peacekeeper sitting in my hand. I didnt wanna play them cause they were gonna lose their value, as its one of the best paladin's card. So i decide to remove Truesilver Champion and add the ULTIMATE beast.
So based to the meta with the aggro druids, the heavy control warriors even the mirrors (secret or mid) its the perfect counter:
- No one is expecting it. Specially when u have played both of ur Aldor Peacekeeper or your Big Game Hunter
- Perfect response to a full board when u dont have Consecration + Equality compo.
- Perfect response to Dr.6 and Dr.7
- A good Defender of Argus target to taunt up
Update (8/11/2015) This is a video that my friend Khristophesaurus made. Enjoy!
Feedback
Feel free to post your screenshots with ur match ups and ur win rate so i can assist you better and also check if this deck is also working for you too.
Update (10/11/2015) So i get some messages with really negative comments and some other really encouraging. You really need to consider guys i took a card and i made it work. It worked for me, Paladin is a hard class to master its not just unless you play secret paladin. So if you want to actually think before act u should try this deck because it works, if u want to play braindead just dont. It wont fit to you fellas. Thank you for your feedback so far and really glad for all those guys that made it legend with it.
DONT SMORC
Update (12/11/2015) Did some more games today and i wanted to share it with you. so i went 5-1. I removed a Zombie Chow and i added a Harrison Jones because i was watching too many control warriors in the ladder.
Still sitting in the top 30 atm in eu. If u dont believe the deck is working u can buy a coach lesson. Thank you for ur feedback guys.
Update (13/11/2015) if u keep meeting Freeze mages as i did in Na. Because they want to test their new spell. Just replace a Zombie Chow with a Kezan Mystic

why no Stampeding Kodo
I would say its to high for a combo, I mean 8 mana for aldor and kodo is just so slow.
Nice deck 6win 1loss :D
I have to agree with most other people; Eadric serves no purpose in the deck; it's just mid pal doing mid pal things; you would be better served putting several other cards in the deck, QM, Truesilver, Loatheb, Kel thazad, heck another owl would be fine.
-eadric -argus +truesilver +quartermaster much better
Kind of beats the point of the deck..
15-2 IN A ROW
So, 30 - 4 ?
This deck doesn't make sense and nothing is proved with you using Eadric.
The meta is:
- Aggro (druid, secret pala)
- Combo druid
- Tempo mage
- Control Warrior
- Mid paladin
Aggro druid and secret pala aren't waiting for your turn 7.
Tempo mage and combo druid doesn't give 2 cents about your Eadric either.
Control Warrior isn't putting a board full of minions so you can use Eadric.
So you have a mid range pala where you can hope he waits for turn 8 using Quartermaster muster for battle combo so you can finally use Eadric.
I have faced a couple of Eadric on the ladder and just laugh and pound the with the mid range pala 1/1 silver recruits knowing they sit and hope for moment to use Eadric while I have included Harrison Jones shitting on their weapons and gaining card advantage.
This is just a standard mid range paladin which you make it be more than it is.
You talking for linear curve. Often Edric goes on 9-10 turns.
So far I do like the deck but thinking of removing one aldor for card draw.
Why play Justicar when you're running only 1 Quartermaster? Makes no sense at all. Id replace the healbot for another QM, you're running many taunts and zombie chow, so aggro decks should not be able to kill you easily b4 you can Lay on Hands. Theres no point in playing the "defende the castle" strategy if you're lacking win conditions!
About justicar : 2 1/1 per turn wins a lot of control matchups on their own and draws aoe away. Even without a second qm it's strong enough.
If you're going to run a slow card like Justicar, why not make the most out of it? The only matchup where 1/1s can win you the long game by themselves is against fatigue/control warrior, and thats a favourable matchup anyway. You could make a case if you were running 2 equalities since the 1/1s would then fulfill control purposes, but since you're not, theres ZERO reason not to run 2 QM here.
Besides, no one is running healbot in midrange pally anymore, cuz the aggro meta is minion based not burn face based, so healbot wont really make much of a difference, it helps against face hunter and freeze mage and weakens the deck against everything else..
Sick deck :D 17-2 now :)
I fail to see the point of saving a silence for mysterious challenger.
if youre struggling to get out of rank 9 with anything, then the problem isn't the deck
and I know this might come as a shock, but Paladin Midrange is hard to play, so you are most likely doing something very wrong
Seriously? Standard mid range pally, but remove 1 quartermaster/truesilver and put in Eadric/argus. Then make a guide? It should actually be bad now Justicar is out. But since the other 28 cards will carry you. I'm not suprised it "works". double aldur, bgh and Eadric should be overkill in a aggro meta for sure. If you do really like this kinda style I recommand running double equality. More effecient.
With Fordring, not only do you turn all ur opponent's attack to 1, but now you have an additional 3/7 body on the field to pressure your opponent. Running 2 equalities can occasionally put yourself in a less favourable position unintentially since equality turns all minions on board into 1 health
