Hi.... Okay, I just wanted to point this fact out: this is a deck I have begun to build, but I'll need help to finish, so feel free to post comments on ideas on this page or the reddit page I have linked to this page - I'll check them both regularly.
So what is the "goal" of this deck?
To make it fun and competitive in the Ranked Ladder.
So I had this crazy idea of having a weapon, which potentially never breaks. Essentially it is all about using Gorehowl to control the board and then have the combo ready with Alexstrasza, Grommash Hellscream and an enabler.
The way "Never Ending Gorehowl" should work out - is by using the Orgrimmar Aspirant, Hero Power and stack up the damage since the weapon only lose attack damage when used on minions. The Health Points can be an issue using this method and not to mention Mage's freeze effects can be a bump on the road to victory... buuuuuut that is why you'll need Armor Points and lots of it, and removals... and sometimes minions. Justicar Trueheart does help out a lot since you bang your head into a lot of minions and there are 2 Gorehowls in case you need to use Death's Bite for enabler or something.
So here is what I need your help with:
- Which cards does this deck need?
- Why is your choice of card needed?
- Which cards are not fitting in this deck?
- Why does it not fit?
- Test the deck and give your feedback on what you experienced and what you think could have helped you out in your games. (It would maybe be a good idea to test the cards you would like to submit on this page first.)
- Spread the link to this page to friends of yours who you think could help out and bring good ideas and feedback.
And as a final note I just want to point out that any ideas of deck type for this deck is welcome.
I personally think it is a Control Deck, but maybe you see other possibilities with it. Give me your feedback all is welcome.

What about Captain Greenskin?
It wouldn't efficient. A 5/4 for 5 mana and then an Upgrade! effect. It would be better to use the Upgrade itself instead. As of now, I have sort of left this project ^^
I really like the idea of building a deck around the Warrior fighting enemy minions rather than a lot of the current cheese. Going to give this deck a try. Not a big fan of the mana curve though. Probably going to drop Shieldmaiden for Dread Corsair outright and see how that works. Might try to sneak Bolster and King's Defender in there too after some testing.
Hello. I tried to create a weapon-based warrior, as You, But that was just before the strart of TGT. I tried all possible variations, but current times/meta is not for weapon-focused warrior. Why? - beacase there is too much swarming aggro decks with low cost cards. As a result You get too much damege in face, because you are kicked in face and hit with face, like a masochist. + minimum 2 last seasons were doninated by weapon classes - so as a result, every deck is having Harrison Ford in the deck or Ooze. I woudn't wish enyone to feel that butt-hurt sence, when your prescious Gorehowl buffed by Upgrade!*2 was destroyed by Harrison Jones.
Speaking about Your variant - i Will try it (not a 100% copy, as i dont have [card]Justicar Trueheart[/card]) But i will try to find a worthy substitute. If i will have any success - i will post my experience here.
As I replied on the Reddit thread; I do not like to use Upgrade! for this deck. The point of this deck is to use the Orgrimmar Aspirant and the weapon damage increase to use Gorehowl forever. Harrison Jones is still a major problem, but since you only have 1 durability the opponent will not gain a big advantage by destroying your weapon - again that is why this deck have multiple weapons. Maybe you can bait out Harrison with a Death's Bite.
