Hello, my name is Pluffles and welcome to my first guide! I've consistently reached legend every season with all sorts of decks peaking at rank 8 with scumbag miracle. However this season I decided to take a cancerous turn and it worked surprisingly well so I thought I'd share the deck with you all.
Proof: http://puu.sh/fYnmn.jpg
Introduction:
This deck is CANCER INCARNATE. Based off the popular "Red Deck Wins" from MTG, this deck aims to go all face all the time. How much face damage you're able to do with your minions will greatly influence the outcome of the game.
Playstyle:
Mulligan exclusively for minions (Nightblade, Arcane Golem, Coldlight Oracle aside) and Powermace. The only spells that you might want to keep are Earth Shock and Rockbiter Weapon. Keep Earth Shock if you suspect the opponent is taunt heavy and Rockbiter Weapon if you suspect Zombie Chow, Knife Juggler, or Mechwarper.
You may have to make face damage vs. board state decisions in the early stages of the game, however when in doubt just go face because that's what this deck is built to do. 90% of the time it's correct to go face and let your opponent do the trading.
Try to save your damage spells for when you pull a spell power totem out after you inevitably lose board control. This usually happens around turn 5. Do not ever use damage spells on minions after you lose board control, at that point it's time to face race.
Card Explanations:
Rockbiter Weapon: Great synergy with Doomhammer but sometimes must be used to remove problematic minions.
Earth Shock: Saved almost exclusively for minions with Taunt. There will be times you might have to silence a minion that freeze locks your hero as well.
Worgen Infiltrator: Almost guaranteed 2 damage, has great synergy with Flametongue Totem.
Powermace: Despite the deck having no mechs whatsoever, this card is still a double Wolfrider. I opt to play 1 due to the fact you don't want to have this and Doomhammer at the same time ever.
Coldlight Oracle: Very powerful draw engine usually played to find cheap spells to finish off your opponent. Don't be afraid to play this on turn 3 if you have no other play. Same thing applies to Arcane Golem.
Nightblade: They'll never know what hit them...
1 Nightblade can be replaced with Leeroy Jenkins. I haven't tested Leeroy Jenkins before since I don't own the card but it seems like a reasonable fit.
Matchups:
Strong against: Priest Control, Midrange Paladin, Handlock, Demonlock, Oil Rogue, Freeze Mage, Fatigue Mage, Secrets Mage
So-so: Warrior control, Midrange Hunter, Ramp Druid
Weak: Mech Mage, Mech Shaman, Face Hunter
Mechwarper and Annoy-o-tron is the bane of this deck.
Good luck~
This is a fun deck. It works vs control, but it's totally pointless vs aggro
What can I replace for DoomHammer. Since I don't have Doomhammer I use Wind Speaker. Works really well when I have a minion next to a flametongue totem. This can me that small burst I need.
The deck isn't possibly that bad to go 2-10. There's something that you're doing wrong. Using your earth shocks at the right time, Holding cards for the wrong time.... ect. You should only be using Earth shocks for taunts or freeze minions if you have a weapon. 1/2 the games you play will be 100% dependent on the mulligan, both yours and the opponents. How well they draw vs you. So you really need to make sure that you're using your mulligan correctly.
Been messing around with this for a while, I'm 42-37 with it. At least a third of those losses are because Hearthstone utterly hates me, and will mulligan Lava Burst/Lava Burst/Nightblade into Nightblade/Nightblade/Doomhammer.
Ugh! I tried this out for about 7 games and it pains me that this deck is actually effective. Innovative decks get destroyed while facedecks get rewarded with wins.
This deck crushes priest and handlock nearly 100%. I've never lost to either so you either got EXTREMELY unlucky or you're doing it wrong.
Why use a Powermace without a single mech?
went 12-1, this does so much damage early game if they don't draw the perfect cards they're dead. great job with the deck m8
Updated with matchups and reworded some stuff. Will make a video sometime today when I have time.
First game didn't even make it to turn 5 vs a priest. o.o Damn son. What is this sorcery?
Hello,
Personally I think Bluegill has better Flametongue synergy than Haunted Creeper does. Charge is extremely important to have in the deck, you can almost always expect to topdeck instant damage later in the game whereas Haunted Creeper does not provide that reach. If you don't like Bluegill, Argent Squire or Whirling Zap-o-Matic can be played instead.
Nightblade is preferred over Fire Elemental because the body is usually irrelevant. 99.99% of the time the Fire Elemental will just do 3 face damage and trade for something just like Nightblade usually does.
2 Abusive is a encouraged, having no turn 1 play is extremely hurtful and sometimes you just have to play Abusive as a 2/1 body if you have no Gnome or Worgen.
I've tried Jeeves but it doesn't work at all. Coldlight is usually played like how sellabg played it in his video below, it's very important to draw the cards on the same turn you play it. Plus you usually have 2-4 burn spells in your hand ready by the time you lose board at roughly turn 4-5 which doesn't give you the opportunity to empty your hand AND play Jeeves on the same turn.
no chance vs face hunters
I agree, Explosive Trap is too OP. This deck can't deal with it.
Great Deck pluf!, what is the program that overlay hs?
Hearthstone Deck Tracker.
deck does surprisingly well
Anyone know how this does? Played 4 games and i'm 2-2 at rank 14. Wins against mech-Mage and Warrior, loss against aggro paladin and freeze mage.
Whats the highest anyone has gone with this? Favourable matchups?

My score from this season. I feel like the druid matchup should be better but I get Zombie Chowed every game :/
