i replaced boom with gazlowe, works preety much ok.
the most problems i encountered against face huntards bechause of their mid-late game "skill command" combos.
this deck mage really synergize
Tough choice. It depends on what you think your opponent will be least able to deal with. Mechanical Yeti's 5 health makes him hard to remove on early turns without some spell help. Piloted Shredder is easier to kill, but his ability to die and leave another minion on the board means your opponent needs two attacks to take him off the board completely. Lean towards Mechanical Yeti, if you're in doubt. I'd say it's the right play more often.
awesome deck. i have had good results on the ladder so far in January. Thinking about putting in Pyroblast because I feel like this deck needs a finisher and/or a little more card draw. Azure Drake is perfect as this deck is too slow for Arcane Intellect and minions with card draw are just too slow, even Thalnos.
EDIT: Pyroblast is obviously too slow... I have heard Antonidas is good because of the synergy with all the Spare Parts. Any thoughts?
Archmage Antonidas would be a very good alternate pick, he's just slower to get value out of. He's 7 mana cost, but you'll want to play him on turn 9+ in order to get at least a couple of spare parts through him before he gets removed. No doubt having up to 6 extra Fireballs is a game changer.
Crazy stuff can happen too if you manage to play him turn 8 w stealth or turn 7 + coin + stealth.
Hmm, I don't have any legendaries or another tinkertown or blastmage so i put in a flamestrike 2 unstable portals. :D
I just crafted Dr. Boom yesterday, and I think he should be your top priority to craft as a legendary. He can be in almost any deck and be quite effective. But in the end, it's for you to decide.
So much value for the mana. Yes yes and yes.
I just ended up crafting Dr. Boom too as my first crafted legend , especially for this deck , I have disenchanted a lot of rare , commons I didn't really need at that moment ( even some were really good ). I have been really interested in using Goblin Blastmage as well.
That deck is really good , it has the ability to flood your opponent with creatures and finish him with some direct damage , breaking opponent strategy to finish you.
I also like having so many spare part , it can really be helpful to trade creature , bounce back a legend , freeze a a strong opponent minion.
Great deck , mix of mid range control and aggro , love it so far ! I am now running it in rank ladder , let s see.
im winning alot of streaks with this deck and to be on the playing side of this deck i feel bad for my opponents at times :(
I substituted Gazlowe for Dr. Boom and ran all the rest of the deck as is. Not as dependable as Dr. Boom, but it's a lot of fun. My seventh game was the first time I've ever gotten V-07-TR-0N onto the board (vs. priest). Gazlowe gave me 2x Mechwarper, a Spider Tank, and Mimiron's Head in exchange for four spare parts on turns 7 & 8. I still had mana to play them to the board on turn 8 and he couldn't remove them with the Goblin Blastmage he thought stole from me.
I then Fireball'ed the Goblin Blastmage and went quadruple windfury on his face. It was epic.
Doing the same now and it's royal fun! Gazlowe's my first and currently only GvG legendary drop; everyone seems to think it sucks, I can't quite disagree but I still want to make it work as a matter of principle. His best performance so far has been giving me an Anima Golem and an Enhance-o Mechano which ended up taunting it. And that was against a warrior with a weapon out.
I think it's fairly viable. I'm coming up from the bottom this month. I have won 14 games and lost 8 on my way to Rank 14 (64%). One of those losses I accidentally Fireballed my face (hello... new mage here), so I'm not sure I should count that one. lol
I had one win where the opponent just conceded when I got Gazlowe to draw me three mechs. I had one match where Gazlowe drew me a Junkbot and 2 other mechs. The free Junkbot buffed two times as I traded for board control and was key to that win. It's kind of fun looking for creative wins.
I just miss Dr Boom.
Wich card should I use to replace it?
It depends on what you have. The deck can win without him. Something like Ragnaros the Firelord would do fine here. If you don't have any legendaries, consider something like a Force-Tank MAX.
I got a sylvana and put it in place.
I featured this deck in my top 5 decks of the season since gvg released. Have a look if you are curious of my other 4 decks that made it to my video! :)
Card draw, also +1 spell damage can help.
Where is the mage part of this deck? 4 mage class cards... so 8 is you drew every card in the deck. Wouldn't it be cool if one of these Legendary players would think of a mage deck in 13 months that used more than 4 class cards, a new xpac, and basically made a mech zoo to get to legend? This is why you should all stop netdecking and stop ruining meta.
